On 3rd March 2025, our NSS volunteers actively participated in Project Chala Shikuya, a meaningful educational initiative aimed at nurturing young minds. 🏫👧

The event began with a discussion with ma’am, who assigned us to teach 1st to 3rd STD students. Our volunteers, in pairs, engaged with the students, ensuring lessons were taught in a way that matched their understanding and language proficiency.⭐📕

We focused on building their confidence and enhancing their language skills, as many students struggled with Hindi and Marathi.✨ This session was a perfect blend of education and service, fostering curiosity, teamwork, and enthusiasm among the children.😇📖

The event concluded on a positive note, leaving both students and volunteers with a truly fulfilling and enriching experience!✏️📔

Our Nss volunteers actively participated in the Project chala shikuya event held at 27th February 2025 at kandivali.📚
The event began with volunteers being divided into each class and ensuring a systematic approach.✨
We taught the 1st to 2nd std students and we tried to teach hard concepts in an easy way .🏫
Throughout the event, volunteers adhered to the guidelines and maintained discipline. The groups were managed very well.💫

On February 25, 2025, NSS volunteers participated in the Project Chala Shikuya event at Kandivali, where they engaged with 1st and 2nd standard students to make learning more accessible and enjoyable 📚. The event was structured to ensure an organized and impactful teaching experience.

Volunteers were systematically divided into classrooms, where they used simple and creative methods 🎨 to explain difficult concepts. Through storytelling 📖, real-life examples, and interactive teaching 🧩, they ensured that young students could grasp subjects easily. Throughout the session, discipline was maintained, allowing for a smooth learning process.

A key highlight of the event was the blend of learning and play 🎲, which kept the students engaged and excited 😊. Towards the end, volunteers and students participated in fun games like hide and seek, fostering a joyful and friendly atmosphere 👫.

The event successfully combined education with entertainment 🌟, leaving a lasting impact on both students and volunteers. It reinforced the importance of interactive and engaging teaching methods, making the learning experience both meaningful and memorable.

🚦 Road Safety Awareness Seminar 🏍️

📍RTO Andheri West.

On 21st February 2025, our NSS volunteers attended a Road Safety Awareness Seminar at RTO Andheri West. Upon arrival, we were given forms to fill out and had to solve questions related to basic road safety rules & regulations. The session began with a pre-test to assess our existing knowledge. The organizers then educated us on crucial aspects of road safety, including the importance of helmets 🪖 and checking vehicles before driving 🚗. They also presented CCTV footages of real-life accidents 📹 and informative PPTs 📊 to make us aware of the consequences of careless driving.

After the videos and presentations, an interactive session was held where we were asked about different road signs 🚸 and their meanings. The post-test helped us correct the mistakes we made in the pre-test ✅, reinforcing our understanding of traffic rules. The organizers were very humble and patient, explaining every detail thoroughly. They also highlighted common mistakes to avoid while driving 🚦.

At the end of the seminar, certificates 🏅 were distributed to all volunteers, and we submitted our completed forms. The organizers also provided pamphlets 📖 containing essential road safety information. Before leaving, we captured memorable photos 📸 with the organizers and police officers 👮. The seminar was an amazing experience ✨, equipping us with valuable road safety knowledge. We were truly grateful for this learning opportunity!

🌊🧹MADH BEACH CLEANUP 🌊🧹

📍Silver Beach (Madh Koliwada)

Our NSS volunteers did a beach clean up event🧹at silver beach Madh koliwada. 🌊Our 30 volunteers participated in this event . We started the event at 8:00am🕑.
In the start of the event the organizer gave us gloves 🧤and bags to collect the waste on the beach....we divided all the volunteers into 6 groups and alloted different areas to different groups so the work would be easy and fast...our every volunteer did their work dedicatedly we also took some break's .
After the clean up we threw all the trash 🚮 into the trucks of BMC which were provided by the organizer.after the work was done we washed 🧴our hands and ate some refreshments 😋provided by the organizer there was samosa and tea ☕️in the refreshment ..after eating refreshments we took our meet and ended the event..we all really enjoyed cleaning the beach..✨

🚩🌸 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti Celebration 🌸🚩

On 19th February 2025, our NSS Volunteers had the privilege of participating in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti Program, honoring the legacy of the great Maratha warrior. 🚩

The program commenced with the welcoming of distinguished guests, followed by vibrant performances by children, showcasing their devotion through songs dedicated to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Several Govinda Pathak groups, including Jai Jawaan Govinda Pathak, also joined the celebration. ✨

Before the rally began, all volunteers were provided with printed T-shirts and caps. Marching with enthusiasm and chanting slogans, the rally covered a distance of approximately 4-5 km. Many colleges actively participated, making the event even more impactful. ⭐✨

Our NSS Volunteers displayed great energy and engagement, contributing significantly to the event’s success. ⭐

The celebration concluded with refreshments, marking the end of a truly inspiring and memorable experience.🧡

🥪FOOD PREPARATION DRIVE 🥪

📍Sardar Vallebhai Patel Garden (Malad east)

Our Nss volunteers enthusiastically participated in "Food Preparation Drive" on 16th February 2025 at Sardar Vallebhai patel garden, Malad east demonstrating their dedication towards social service and team work. ✊🏻✨

The primary objective of the drive was to prepare and distribute nutritious meals to underprivileged communities, promoting the values of compassion, teamwork, and social responsibility among the volunteers.😊The event began with the volunteers chopping Vegetables and appying sauce to the bread , prepared healthy sandwiches , ensuring hygiene and quality throughout the process.🥗

After the preparation, the food was packed and distributed to the needy in nearby areas, spreading smiles and hope. This drive not only served as an opportunity to help those in need but also instilled a sense of unity and service among the volunteers. 🤝The event concluded successfully, leaving a positive impact on both the community and the participants, and reinforcing the core values of the NSS.🍽️🤤

5 volunteers of our NSS unit participated in the 3rd session of community connect Act-A-thon event.
The event starts with sharing feelings and names . The first activity of an event is listening 👂🏻to communication 🗣️

We learned a lot of new things and our interactions helped us gain new perspectives. The event ended with us gaining new insights. 🌟

On 15th of February 2025 our nss volunteers participated in the Mahim Beach clean up event which was held at Mahim Koliwada , causeway.✨

The organizers instructed us to clean the beach, segregate waste for recycling, and provided masks, gloves, and boards for waste collection.🧹🌊

We were thrilled to see the beach's transformation and received appreciation from the organizers, who also provided refreshments.✨💫

We appreciate our volunteers' efforts, dedication, and enthusiasm, which demonstrate the true spirit of social responsibility. 🌟
