Maharashtra govt: Virginity test to be registered as sexual harassment case if victim files complaint The Indian Express had first reported about the movement started by members of ‘Stop the V-Ritual’ Whatsapp group against “virginity tests” after one of them, Siddhant Dashrath Indrekar (21), had complained against the caste panchayat at the Vishrantwadi police station on November 25, 2017.

Tribal Leadership Programme 2019: Call for Applications

The TLP is a week-long residential programme, complemented by intensive engagement over the subsequent year, for young women and men from tribal communities who feel strongly about the challenges faced by tribal communities, believe in the power of tribal discourse and feel the need to do something about it. It is structured to be a platform for such individuals to be part of a like minded pan India group and seed a model of leadership for social impact which resonates with the fundamental values of tribalism.
