The Diwali celebrations started much earlier for all of us at the Malhar Family, as the Malhar Sparklers,my talented students,took the stage of Juhu Jagruti Auditorium on the eve of October 16,2019.
Their singing coupled with the awesome music,was nothing short of a Light and Sound show.
Each time my students take to the stage,they never fail to amaze. They all shone with a brilliance akin to the Sun,Moon and Stars. Diwali sounds are mostly Noise but with my Sparklers it was...the Sounds of Music.
While the listeners appreciated and applauded the singing, I stood there proudly feeling like a Mother Hen with her Awesome Brood. I take immense pleasure and pride in sharing some glimpses from from the Show.Enjoy!

We are so excited to announce the launch of Guitar Classes at our music school. The classes will be conducted by the talented Nathanael Sir who is a professional guitarist who has been training students and adults for the past 8 years.

The classes are open for adults and children of the age of 6+.

GUITAR for beginners .TRIAL CLASS today (26th August) at 6.30pm. Enjoy the language of music, learn to play your favourite songs along with syllabus based songs , transcribing, develop the ear for music with personalised attention.
Also have the chance to perform at certain music venues in the city , exposure
to industry professionals (jam sessions/ rehearsals/ performances/ guest lectures).

Learning the nuances of an art form like music, can enable children develop a range of cognitive skills from a very young age. At Malhar Sangeet Kala Kendra, we begin teaching music to children from the tender age of 3 and we’ve been fortunate to watch our children excel over the years. Years ago, Ms. Kavita’s mother, Ms. Parminder Chadha, ignited a spark in her.. a love for Music 🎤🎼
From years of learning and honing her skill, was born her miniscule “gurukul” where she welcomed all those who “seek”..of all ages😀.....and it was here where the
idea of “Nanhe Sitare” was conceptualized and shaped amidst a lot of toil, laced with sweat and tears, with dedication from her little students who practised endlessly and able help from her close friends. Finally, “Nanhe Sitare “ opened to a packed audience at Balghandharva Rangmanch on the eve of November 25, 2018..
The kids were on a roll! With able support from the renowned musician Ajay Madanji and his team, they wowed the audience and the chief guests, the renowned musician Salim Merchantji and Jeanne Merchantji and Ms. Kavita’s Guru and friend like family, the established singer Mrs. Padma Wadkarji !They were like dynamos on the stage greeted with thunderous applause 👏👏👏
