Fantastic body movement workshops that are helpful for acting and artists in general!!

Chhau is a martial art based classical dance originated from tribal and folk movement from East India. There are three recognized styles of Chhau; Seraikella from Jharakhand, Mayurbhanj from Orrisa and Purulia from West Bengal.
At Meenakshi' s Classes students will be taught Seraikella which is the most lyrical and stylized form of martial arts.
The powerful integrity of the larger movement dimensions of Chhau originates in the center core of the body. The controls of tension and release of energy with flexibility begins here.

What do the students benefit from us:
1. Flexibility Exercises to develop the core strength
2. Animal Footwork (Postures and walk of snakes, peacock...)
3. Balancing Exercises to improve ones Grace in dancing
