The best teachers don’t give you the answers, but they spark within you the desire to find the answer yourself. Good teaching is more about awakening a sense of asking the right kind of questions, than giving away the right answers.

OctoSmart SUMMER CAMP

These are a series of workshops specifically designed and based on Howard Gardner’s Theory Of Multiple Intelligences.

Every themed workshop will have various activities with emphasis on each of these multiple intelligences covered in a five-day module.

18th - 22nd April - I Fly
Don’t you wish you could fly? Well, to begin with, let’s talk about all the things that can fly – be they birds, insects, toys, man-made machines … and even some mammals!

25th - 29th April - Tick-Tock
Time flies! But where does it go? Explore day and night, morning and evening, summer and winter, birthdays and calendars … there’s just so much to do and such little time!

2nd - 6th May - Big Cat
Lions and tigers and leopards, oh my! Enter the world of the big wild cats. Learn about how they look, what they eat and what special abilities they have.

9th - 13th May - Wide Wide World
Our world is full of wonders, with different kinds of places such as mountains, deserts, beaches and snow. Learn about each type of terrain and its specialties.

16th - 20th May - The Ocean Bed
It's a bright, colourful, strange world under the sea. Get a glimpse into the lives of different kinds of sea creatures - what they look like, what they eat and how they behave.
