What do our students do after graduating from the world’s only traveling high school? ✈️Each path is different, but one thing’s for sure: Curiosity never stops.

We recently caught up with Class of 2023 Alum Aarushi Arora as she prepared to begin her liberal arts journey at Nayanta University. For Aarushi, the time between TGS and university hasn’t been a pause, but a continuation, dedicated to the things that ignite her passions: deep-dive research, media production, and community advocacy. 🌍

What better way to wrap up our Meet the Team Mondays series than by featuring the man behind the lens? Meet Matt Rogers. 👋

For Matt, the best learning happens far from a desk. It's a philosophy shaped by a decade of working across 18 countries in education, media, and operations. He brings that perspective to TGS by focusing on equipping students to navigate a complex information landscape, whether developing our digital portfolio system or guiding the thoughtful integration of AI into the curriculum.

Curiosity drives much of Matt's life beyond the classroom as well. A passionate diver, he's fascinated by how human systems interact with natural ones, from underwater soundscapes to the broader environmental impacts of our actions. 🤿

Of all the TGS core values, Matt identifies most with 求知欲 Qiú Zhī Yù, the thirst for knowledge. Whether through storytelling, cross-cultural exploration, or the occasional escape room, he's always asking why and how.
