Notice is hereby given to general public at large that two of the Trustees namely Mr. Sandeep Goenka and Mr. Ambuj Jhunjhunwala have been expelled from Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Vikas Mandal Trust having PTR No. E-2960 Mumbai with effect from 10/01/22 as per the Board Resolution passed by the Managing Trustee on disciplinary grounds.
★ The said two Trustees have no authority to take any decision on behalf of the Trust or conduct any meetings with teachers, PTA and parents at large and that they are also restricted from entering the School/Trust premises without the Managing Trustee/Trustees permission. The pandemic has caused financial difficulties and stress across the globe and I wanted to make education affordable for the parents that were affected by the pandemic in any way. However, to prevent me from entering the school and reducing the school's fees the said two Trustee have acted beyond their powers and have employed bouncers/goons at the gate of the school for which the Trust has already filed police complaint with Borivali Police Station. The said two Trustees have taken undue advantage of the situation and have caused damage to the school reputation and by misleading the entire S.V.I.S Family at large, have created confusion, panic in the mind of the parents, staff, students.
★ The Trust i.e Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Vikas Mandal Trust, recognized Mr. Yogesh Patel as Managing Trustee since 1995 and that the Trust has not changed their Managing Trustee till date. The rumours which have been spread by the miscreants are only with the intention to harm the reputation of the Trust and its ongoing Trustees.
★ It has been further noted that the present Managing Trustee Mr. Yogesh Patel was illegally stopped by the goons appointed by the two aforesaid Trustees ( without the permission of the Trust) at S.V.I.S Gorai for which a Complaint is also registered with Borivali Police Station. It is really sad to see that S.V.I.S family/school which is a reputed institution in the city of Mumbai has to undergo such kind of embarrassment at the hands of certain persons who have taken the institution for granted.
The Trust has decided to work for the interest of children and institution as it is been doing since last many years and will fight against all odds with the support of all the S.V.I.S family, teachers, staff, parents, students and will not allow miscreants to succeed in their ulterior motives.
★ Swami Vivekanand International Group of Schools is not associated with CP Goenka Schools and ECube. So kindly take a strong note of it and do not fall for any bogus rumours.
★ Lastly, as per the meeting held on 5th March 2022, a resolution was passed with the support of Board of Trustees of Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Vikas Mandal Trust to reduce the school fees by 20% for 2020-2021 academic year and by 15% for 2021-22 academic year with immediate effect, and children who have lost their father during the pandemic will be given free education for year 2020-2021 and 2021-2022.
★ I pray for everyone's good health, long life and happiness and I pray that together we will defeat and overcome these difficult times. God bless you all.

Health is Wealth
Hello SVIS family, I hope you all are doing well and are safe and healthy. This month as school resumed for the 10 Std. students, I met a lot of students, parents and teachers after a long time. I was so happy to meet them and I had a wonderful time talking with them after such a long time. Diwali vacation has started and I miss the activities which used to happen before the Diwali break. I miss the Rangoli competition, greeting card and diya competition, the kids dancing on the last day of school. I hope that by next year everything is back to normal and I can see the kids taking part in all these activities which they have been missing since the last eighteen months.
As the vacation is started, I have some IMPORTANT MESSAGE to share with SVIS family members.
★ In June I met so many students after more than a year in both the schools and I was delighted to meet them after so long, but at the same time I was concerned as many of them looked stressed out and tensed. Also, many of them have become obese and this is a big concern for all of us. They have missed out on spending time with friends, their playful vacations in socities, physical activities in schools and festival celebrations in the last eighteen months.
★ As we cannot do anything about the time which has passed, we can try our best to make things right and bring our mental and physical health back on track.
★ Children have to believe in Darwin's theory of Survival of the Fittest. Children must be physically, mentally & intellectually fit. If someone is looking slim and trim doesn't mean they are physically fit, it all depends on your strong immune system and digestive system.
First and foremost, start adopting a healthy diet. Give healthy home made food to the children. Avoid use of readymade food packets, namkeens, as most of them contain preservatives, synthetic colours, refined palm oil, hydrogenated oil, chemical based flavours, flavour enhancers, maltodextrin, nature identical flavouring substance, leavening agent, anticaking agent, etc.
I had the great opportunity to invite Shri Rajiv Dixitji twenty years ago in both the schools and he was such a visionary and one of the great patriotic leaders post Independence. The things he shared with all of us at that time, we are reading them now on the internet. He talked about food habits, dangers of packed food and aerated drinks, dangers of microwave radiation and so many other enlightening topics for the well-being of all the children.
★ As per Ayurveda it is advisable to eat food in one hour from the time it is cooked. If you eat after several hours you are eating stale food which is called tamsik. You must limit excessive use of Salt and Sugar as it is very dangerous for our health. Never eat food in a hurry and always properly chew food 32 times for proper digestion. It is best to eat fruits and vegetables according to their season and what is locally available. Many health problems arise due to the wrong eating habits and cooking methods.
★ While eating healthy food, it is also important to keep in mind to use the right utensils. Totally avoid the use of non stick cookware. At a high temperature, coatings on nonstick cookware start to break down, releasing toxic chemicals into the air. The chemical Perfluorooctanoic acid used in nonstick utensils also known as PFOA has been linked to a number of health conditions, including thyroid disorders, chronic kidney disease, liver disease, heart disease, brain disorders, hormonal imbalances, etc. Also avoid the use of aluminium pressure cooker as the food cooked in it looses 90% of its nutritional value. Aluminium is neurotoxic material and leads to several neurological diseases including Alzheimer's and ALS. Using Aluminium foil while cooking and wrapping food in it is more dangerous. Aluminium is thyro toxic metal which gets deposited in the body. Stainless steel is much safer, however many a times stainless steel cookware has excessive amount of nickle to provide extra shine and nickle is again a highly toxic metal. Also, avoid the use of microwave and do not reheat the food once it is cooked. Microwave radiation is dangerous and harms the brain, recent studies have also found that it can harm the central nervous system, by impairing learning and memory. Reheating causes a loss in the nutritional content of the food as well. Best cookware to use are clay pots, brass, bronze and cast iron which retains almost 90% of nutrients.
★ We must keep a check on our blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol levels so that it can be rectified before it is too late as life in Mumbai is very stressful and these are a silent killer.
★ Make the best use of holidays and spend quality time with your children. Covid has made us realize how valuable life is and how important it is to spend time with our loved ones as life is uncertain.
★ Keep children away from phones and reduce their time spent on social media. In today's world it is a must to monitor their social circle to avoid them from being trapped in any wrong doings. Teach them the importance of money so they do not spend your hard earned money to impress others.
★ I have always worked for the children without thinking of any award, reward or recognition. Nothing in this world is as satisfying as helping others. Silver & Gold will perish but your good deeds will always be remembered. Good act is more powerful than anything else. If your Karma is good, God is always there with you. Your trust and faith are my biggest strengths. I always try helping everyone to the best of my abilities. I would like to thank each one of you for being my constant support.
★ I would once again like to remind you all that Covid is still there, strictly wear masks at all times. Please do not take this lightly and do follow the necessary precautions at all times. I would love to Congratulate our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji for the 1.06 billion Vaccination mark. It is a big achievement for our country and I would like to applaud all Healthcare workers, Scientists, Researchers and the people who have made this possible and stood by our country in difficult times.
★ I would also like to applaud all our teachers and IT department for doing a fantastic job in imparting online education and shaping the future of the students.
★ May Millions of Lamp illuminate your Life with Good Health, Endless Joy, Prosperity and Happiness. Wishing you and your family Shubh Deepawali and Prosperous New Year.
May God bless you all. Stay Safe.

Hearty Congratulations to Rohit Sharma, Shardul Thakur, and team India for the historic win at the Oval. After stupendous performances at the Gabba, Shardul Thakur, the Rockstar of SVIS has once again proved his mettle by displaying his extraordinary skills both with the bat and ball. Rohit Sharma who is already on fire by creating many world records, who also has completed 15000 International runs has undoubtedly taken his batting a notch higher in the England series.
The flamboyant batsman's scintillating 127-run knock powered India to its first Test win over England at the Oval after 50 years.
I can proudly say that the two top Indian Cricketers Rohit Sharma and Shardul Thakur are from SVIS Gorai. In December 2006 Shardul also had created History by hitting Six Sixes in an Over in Harris Shield tournament thereby becoming the 3rd batsman in the world after Garfield Sobers and Ravi Shastri.
I would also like to Heartily Congratulate our coach Shri Dinesh Lad for training and producing such Gems for our country. We at SVIS are very proud of them. We wish them all the very best for the rest of their Careers.
★ On this auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, I pray that God Ganesha take away all your worries, problems and bless you and your family with good health, long life and happiness.
Wishing you all a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi and Michhami Dukkadam. God bless you all. Stay Safe.

Hello SVIS Family, I wish you all a Happy Independence Day 🇮🇳
Let's Salute and remember the indomitable Warriors, Unsung Heroes from our Indian freedom movement who make all of us proud every day. We shall remain forever indebted, forever grateful to these Bravehearts.
★ Our beloved country has faced innumerable invasions in its history by the Portuguese, French, Dutch, Moguls, Britishers. Thousands of young Indians sacrificed their lives for the Independence of the Nation and they have been forgotten in the history of India. Unsung heroes like Baji Rout, Khudiram Bose, Surya Kumar Sen, Pritilata Waddedar, Vishnu Ganesh Pingle, Kartar Singh Sarabha, Kanaklata Barua, Rash Behari Bose, Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, Sukhdev, Saraswati Rajamani, Vir Savarkar, Madanlal Dhingra and the list goes on and on. Such heroes about whom we haven't learnt much about in our history books. I request all the parents to let our children know the stories of these freedom fighters who gave their lives for our country.
★ Parents play an instrumental role in shaping the character of their children, instilling emotional stability, social responsibility and intellectual integrity. Therefore, avoid all kind of digital distractions that divide your attention towards your growing children. Your effective attention will enable you to invest regular quality time with your children, who in turn will feel most secured, confident and will be very disciplined. They will draw from you all that they need to learn, to strengthen and to develop to their full potential.
★ Let us all pledge to safeguard our Nation and Let us all work in tandem and create honest global leaders for the better tomorrow.

★ I hope that bachcha party is utilising their time at home in a productive manner. Parents please do not put pressure on your kids for studying. Hello SVIS family, I hope you all are doing well by staying safe at home. I trust bachcha party is also doing well, is healthy and fine.
★ As we celebrate Father's Day today, we offer gratitude to all the fathers who have made endless sacrifices and brought us up with tender love, affection, protection, education, nourishment, empowerment, teaching dedication and imparting noble values and giving holistic view of life. A big salute to all the wonderful fathers who make innumerable sacrifices to give their families a beautiful life.
★ I would also like to appreciate the powerful gesture by Cristiano Ronaldo for removing the Coca Cola bottle during press conference and thereby showing the youth that it is dangerous to consume such drinks. Being a celebrity, it requires a lot of courage to take such a strong stand. Shri Rajiv Dixit was among the first person in India to start mass awareness of the ill effects of drinking soft drink. He also visited our both the schools. Back in 2002, Pulela Gopichand had also rejected an endorsement offer of a Cola company. He said that how can I ask children to drink a cola that I do not drink myself. Virtually in all my speeches and circulars I have always mentioned about ill effects of packaged foods and aerated drinks. Keep the children away from it as it is very dangerous for their health. Also boil the water even if you have water purifier at home specially in this rainy season to avoid falling sick with water borne diseases.
★ I urge you all parents to make your children strong individuals so that they are not afraid to take any right bold decisions in their lives.
★ It is rightly said HEALTH IS WEALTH!
We should lay great importance on being healthy and boosting our immune system. Tomorrow is World Yoga Day. Take a pledge to make yoga an integral part of your lives. I would further like to lay emphasis on the benefits and importance of Yoga and a little about its inception.
International Day of Yoga is celebrated annually on 21 June since 2015, following it's inception in the United Nations General Assembly in 2014. Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice which originated in India. The Indian Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, in his UN address suggested the date - 21st June, as it is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and it shares a special significance in many parts of the world.
★Let us Stay positive and mentally and emotionally be more stronger. Focus on yours and your family's health as nothing is more important right now than health. God bless you all and your family with the best of Health, Wealth, Peace and Happiness. My Prayers and Best Wishes are always there with you all. May the Almighty God keep you all safe and healthy in mind and body enfolding each one of you in his protective shield.

Hello SVIS family, I hope you all are doing well by staying safe at home. I trust bachcha party is also doing well, is healthy and fine.
★ I have come across beautiful video of village children playing and enjoying their childhood with different games. I loved this video as it has refreshed my childhood memories. I have played almost all these games in my childhood at my native place. I don't know how many of you have had opportunities to live this beautiful life in villages. Kindly put your comments in the comment box and share your experiences after watching this video from the following link. I lived in the times when there were no social media, cell phones, gadgets, computers games and I thank almighty God for making my childhood most beautiful and memorable one. I feel pity for our new generation children who are obsessed with all the distractions of social media, cell phones, gadgets and computer games. It doesn't allow them to think and grow physically and mentally.
★ Give my love to all my bachcha party, it is a difficult time for them as they have spent their entire second summer vacation at home. Give them their space and keep them engaged in creative and innovative activities at home and keep them mentally and physically active at home.
I would like to thank Almighty God for showering his choicest blessings on all of us and giving me this opportunity to serve these beautiful children with pure soul.
★ Once again reminder that China is responsible and accountable for this chaos in our lives. We must make sure that China pays for it. Over dependence on China has cost the world dearly. Not only has it been the world's largest exporter of goods, but also has exported us the deadly COVID19.
★ My health was deteriorated since last ten months, but I am doing much better as of now and for that I would like to thank each one of you from the bottom of my heart for your wonderful prayers.
★ I would once again like to remind you all to stress on one aspect that is our children. They are our gems, our pride and a Nation's future. As Educators, parents and those who are entrusted with the responsibility of these young children, we should collaboratively endevaour to look after their safety physically, emotionally pshychologically; safeguard them from any kind of abuse; cyber crimes or bullying. Instill in them moral values, life skills and aesthetics alongwith academics. Teach them to take care and respect themselves, their peers and elders. Teach them the value of life and commodities. Simple living - high thinking and Enabling them to grow as good human beings and accomplished responsible world citizens of tomorrow.
★ Dear teachers and team SVIS, I am indebted to you all for your exemplary services to SVIS and Society at large. I salute you all for taking extraordinary care of little angels at SVIS.
Thank you all so much for your kind words, likes and wonderful comments as it always motivates me to do something different than others.
Once again we Salute our Corona Warriors, healthcare personnel and Mumbai Police for their exemplary services to the nation.

Hello SVIS family, I hope you all are doing well by staying safe at home. I trust bachcha party is also doing well, and also keeping good health.
"God could not be everywhere, and therefore he created mothers"
-Rudyard Kipling.
★ On this beautiful occasion of Mother's Day, first and foremost I remember and thank my MOTHER who gave me Birth, Love and Nourishment.
I would like to thank all the mothers for their selfless love, dedication and hard work they shower on their families. Their love for their children is unparalleled. It is the toughest job in the world that can never be forgotten.
A big salute to all the Mothers on this big day. Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful Mothers.
★ "The Strong, the Brave, the Lionhearted and the formidable make History"
His life is an eternal tale of bravery, determination and uprightness in the Rajput history of Rajasthan. He was a diehard patriot, fearless leader, staunch warrior, caring king and worshiper of freedom.
He was titled as "Mewari Rana" and was notable for his military resistance against the expansionism of the Mughal Empire and was known for his participation in the battle of Haldighati and Battle of Dewair.
On this big day let us remember and pay our tribute to the greatest Son and Warrior of Bharat Mata, Shri MAHARANA PRATAP on his 481st Birth Anniversary.
Amidst all this, we all know that the Corona Virus pandemic is upending life on a global level.
★ At this juncture what we need to do is appreciate the selfless efforts of our Doctors, Nurses, Healthcare workers, Ambulance drivers, Police officers, Media personnel and everyone who are leading the battle against Covid-19 from the front, putting their own lives at risk for keeping all of us alive. Saluting those great warriors who went beyond call of duty. They are under tremendous stress and if they fall sick it will be one of the biggest disasters mankind has ever seen. These Healthcare warriors are exhausted and some of them even died in the line of duty. At least 734 doctors died in their line of duty while 106 personnel of the security forces made supreme sacrifices in the last year. Our prayers and thoughts are always with their families. It is the duty of every single human being on this planet to act wisely and stay indoors and follow every protocol of Covid-19 set by government. Some Covidiots also played a very big role in spreading this deadly Virus.
★ My heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their near and dear ones in this pandemic.
May God give their family members strength & courage to overcome this difficult phase of life.
We need to stay focused and be positive. Stay away from social media as it is full of fake news, misinformation, half knowledge and rumours. Refrain from forwarding any forwarded messages as it creates panic and fear among people.
★ As per Dr.Rundeep Guleria, director at AIIMS, Remdesivir injection has not much role in Covid-19, he also said that don't go for CT Scan unless told by senior doctors as one CT Scan radiation is equivalent to 300 to 400 X-rays and it can result in Cancer in the long run. I am forwarding his small clip below for your information. Recent catastrophe in India occurred because of the multiple Variant from different countries. The latest Is AP Variant or N-440 K Variant, are more transmissible and spread at a much faster rate in human body. The only way to contain it is to Vaccinate more and more people as fast as possible, to Vaccinate more people we need more Vaccines.
https://youtu.be/5hqcHnubKQk
https://youtu.be/aNNwZkwZMbE
★ Knowing the nature of the New Variant it is advisable to immediately isolate yourself from your family in case you experience any symptoms attached to the disease.
Home isolation is a must, incase any of your family member catches Covid-19. Earlier a patient could easily isolate at home without putting other family members at risk, now entire family is getting infected. You need to take extraordinary care if any of your family members is home quarantined. Since the New Variant is highly transmissible, all the members in the family who are staying under one roof must wear Mask at all times. Keep your house well ventilated. Avoid use of air-conditioning. Keep a close watch on Oxygen saturation, if it drops below 95 you must seek medical advice from a well qualified Doctor. Do not share the glass, dinner plates or utensils of infected member. Take steam inhalation twice a day through mouth and nose. Be careful while taking steam because if care is not taken you can have third degree burn injuries. Do not forget to take a few ayurvedic medicines that will help to boost your immune system. Combination of
Ashwagandha+ Guduchi or Giloy + Shatavari + Amalki + Yastimadhu + Turmeric along with honey or luke warm water is very good for boosting your immune system. Even Chyavanprash is very effective towards boosting the immune system.
★ Here I would like to make a mention of the two most influential people in my life, who are also COVID-19 Survivors, my father and my brother.
You may not be aware that they too were infected by this deadly Virus since last two weeks. But, they fought with the deadly Virus and emerged as winners.
So, if at the age of (91), my father could battle with the Virus, you all definitely can fight with positivity, good diet and yoga.
★ You must practise Yoga and Pranayam for strengthening your lungs. I want to reiterate the importance of boosting the immune system by eating healthy and right food, doing regular exercises to keep the Virus at bay. We will see many more Viruses in the coming years. We Humans are the biggest Virus on this planet. In the pursuit of wealth and power we are creating a mess on this beautiful planet. I am always worried about the future of these beautiful children. We are killing this beautiful planet by cutting down millions and millions of trees across the globe, cutting down the mountains, destroying forests and Sea in the name of development. And now people are running from door to door for Oxygen. It is very painful to see the sufferings of the people.
★ Here are few things you can follow when you go for Vaccination at the centre, take extraordinary precautions if the Vaccination centres are overcrowded. Maintain enough distance from other people when you are standing in the queue. Wear Double Mask including N95 & three layer Surgical Mask, if you have to go out for important work. Once you are out of your home, do not remove your Mask even for a second as new Variant is airborne. If you are allergic to any medicines or drugs you must consult your doctor before taking Vaccine.
★ As I discussed in my last article, children are highly vulnerable to this new Variant. As there is no Vaccine available for Children in India as of now, you must take extraordinary care of young children as they are hit the hardest by psychosocial impact of this pandemic. Being quarantined in homes may impose greater psychological burden than the physical sufferings caused by the Virus. School closure, lack of outdoor activities, abnormal dietary and sleeping habits are likely to disrupt children's usual lifestyle and can potentially promote monotony, distress, impatience, annoyance and varied neuropsychiatric manifestations. Incidences of domestic violence, child abuse, adulterated online contents are on the rise. Children of single parent and frontline workers suffer unique problems. Let us go for DIGITAL DETOXING - meaning keep children away from phone, tablets, computers, TV, etc as they are being excessively used for the past one year for online classes. Radiation from these electronics are very harmful to their eyes.
A digital detox can improve their physical and mental health, increase attention span, develop their problem-solving skills, and even boost their creativity.
So during vacation keep them away from all the electronics. Engage them in some creative activities so that they develop some life skills which will be very useful for their future.
★ Make sure children are eating warm and healthy food with all the nutritional values. Lentils, also called daal, is a popular addition to an everyday meal in India. Varieties of beans such as kidney beans, black beans, chickpeas, and sprouts that are widely considered to be a powerhouse of proteins. They must stay away from junk food and packed food as it is not good for them.
★ I would like to once again remind you all to boycott Chinese Apps and Chinese products. Buy Indian products and support the local industries. China is responsible and accountable for this chaos in our lives. We must make sure that China pays for it. Over dependence on China has cost the world dearly. Not only has it been the world's largest exporter of goods, but also has exported us the deadly Covid-19. I am surprised as World Leaders are sitting quite on Wuhan Virus and not taking any serious actions against China. China has done irreparable loss to this planet and must be held accountable.
★ I take this opportunity to thank our wonderful team of teachers for their extraordinary contribution to SVIS and Society at large. Their contribution to SVIS is unparalleled. All the teachers have done fantastic work against all odds in this Pandemic. I am always proud of my wonderful teachers.
★ We hope Government takes extraordinary precautions and prepares well in advance for third wave, so that more and more lives can be saved. Let us hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
World Leaders must come together and should announce complete Lockdown of the world including international and domestic airlines for two to three weeks to break the chain.
★ While concluding, I wish to thank all the Wonderful parents for their valuable support and co-operation from time to time and I firmly believe that with our united effort we will transform every challenge to opportunity and be a paragon of virtues enlightening our students in the realm of knowledge and wisdom.
