Beyond industry interactions, our students explored Dubai through a series of site visits and cultural experiences that added depth and dimension to their global exposure.

The cohort visited some of Dubai’s most iconic attractions — 𝘿𝙪𝙗𝙖𝙞 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙡, 𝙎𝙠𝙮 𝙊𝙗𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮, 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙪𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚, 𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙟 𝙆𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙖, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙫𝙞𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙨 — offering them a first-hand look at the city’s modern business ecosystem, innovation landscape, and cultural diversity.

Experiences like the 𝘿𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝘾𝙧𝙪𝙞𝙨𝙚, 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙪𝙗𝙖𝙞’𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙩 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙢, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙩 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙖𝙧𝙞 with dune bashing and a cultural evening, made the immersion not just educational but also unforgettable.

These site visits enriched students’ understanding of global cultures, customer experiences, hospitality excellence, and the international lifestyle that shapes consumer behaviour in global markets.

Though this post comes in late, the memories and learnings from Dubai remain fresh and continue to inspire our students’ global aspirations.

An experience that blended learning, culture, and exploration — widening perspectives and creating lasting impact. 🌍🚀

𝘼 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝙞𝙣 𝘿𝙪𝙗𝙖𝙞!

In September, our PGDM second-year students embarked on a global learning journey that included impactful industry interactions at 𝘿𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙧 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡, 𝘿𝙉𝘼𝙏𝘼 𝙇𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨, and 𝙎𝙮𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙮 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮.

Even though this update comes a little late, the learnings from these visits continue to fuel our students’ professional growth.

The visit to 𝘿𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙧 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 offered deep insights into global manufacturing excellence, product innovation, and the company’s strategic presence across international markets.

Students also appreciated the warm engagement and the gift hampers shared by the Dabur team.

At 𝘿𝙉𝘼𝙏𝘼 𝙇𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨, students witnessed the scale and sophistication of UAE’s logistics infrastructure. From warehousing systems and supply chain operations to real-time logistics management, the visit provided rich takeaway learnings for budding management professionals.

The academic–industry interaction at 𝙎𝙮𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙮 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 further strengthened students' understanding of emerging business practices. They attended sessions on Artificial Intelligence for Startups and Business Planning, earning certificates that added value to their professional portfolios.

This timeless thought came alive at J S Kothari Business School as Mr. Amrut Deshmukh, popularly known as 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙂𝙪𝙮, took the stage to share his extraordinary journey in a session titled “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙈𝙮 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚.”

The session was organized as part of Samvad Business Dialogues and Reading Inspiration Day, blending the spirit of intellectual dialogue with the celebration of reading.

𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣

📍𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙄𝙠𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙞:
Mr. Deshmukh shared how his brother’s simple advice to start reading changed the course of his life. What began as a personal habit soon evolved into a journey of self-discovery — helping him find his Ikigai, his reason for being.

📍𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚:
He emphasized that success is not the result of a sharp intellect, but of a clear and constructive thought process. His words reminded students that true intelligence lies in how one thinks, perceives, and responds to challenges.

📍𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙆𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙣𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨:
Through a powerful analogy, he narrated how when we avoid confronting our fears, they grow larger than us — but when we face them, we grow stronger. The story left students reflecting deeply on courage, resilience, and self-mastery.

Mr. Deshmukh inspired everyone to read a few pages daily, not as a task, but as a means of transformation. He reminded that reading expands one’s world, nurtures empathy, and shapes vision — making it an indispensable part of lifelong growth.

J S Kothari Business School (JSKBS) was privileged to host Shri Jagdish Kadam, an established infrastructure entrepreneur and visionary leader, for an enlightening session titled “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙤𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙" along with an inauguration of our “𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙫𝙖𝙙: 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘿𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙪𝙚𝙨 2025”, a flagship initiative that bridges the gap between academia and industry.

Drawing from his remarkable journey, Shri Kadam shared insights on leadership, perseverance, and the essence of translating ideas into reality.

His address captivated the audience with stories of real-world application, historical inspiration, and strategic frameworks for success.

📍Drawing parallels from the great Maratha leader 𝘾𝙝𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙟𝙞 𝙈𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙟, Shri Kadam highlighted how strategic foresight, courage, and discipline are timeless lessons applicable in modern leadership.

📍Referring to Jim Collins’ “Good to Great,” he discussed the Big Hairy Audacious Goals (BHAG) framework and how setting bold, transformative goals can propel individuals and organizations toward greatness.

The inauguration of Samvad: Business Dialogues 2025 followed by Shri Kadam’s inspiring address marked a powerful beginning to the series.
