Dear Parents,
Greetings from AIS!
The Pre-Primary section of Abhay International School celebrated Brown Day on Wednesday, 3rd December 2025, with great zeal and happiness
Children came dressed in different shades of brown, helping them relate to the colour through their outfits. They joyfully sang the brown colour song, which helped reinforce their understanding of the colour in a fun and musical way.
To make the day more engaging, the little ones enjoyed a hand-print activity, where they used their handprints to create a cute monkey. This activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and imagination.
The celebration helped children identify the colour brown through real-life objects, art, music, and hands-on experiences. It was a joyful learning day filled with fun and meaningful exploration.

Trash to Treasure – Eco-Climate Themed Competition
Today, our school conducted an exciting “Trash to Treasure – Best Out of Waste” competition for students from Grade 1 to 8. The event encouraged children to think creatively and care for the environment by reusing and recycling everyday waste materials.
The theme for this year was Eco-Climate, focusing on protecting our planet and understanding how our actions affect the Earth. Students used items such as old cardboard, plastic bottles, newspapers, fabric scraps, and other discarded materials to create beautiful and useful objects.
From colourful pen stands and bird feeders to model windmills and eco-friendly décor, each creation showed imagination, skill, and environmental awareness. The competition helped students understand the importance of reducing waste, conserving natural resources, and keeping our climate healthy.
The event was filled with enthusiasm, learning, and creativity. Every student participated with great energy, proving that even small steps—like turning trash into treasure—can help make the world a cleaner and greener place.

Plastic Collection Drive – Eco Climate Activity
Abhay International School
In an effort to promote environmental awareness and sustainability, Abhay International School organized an Eco Climate Activity – Plastic Collection Drive. The initiative aimed to encourage students to take responsibility for protecting the environment by reducing plastic waste and promoting the use of eco-friendly alternatives.
Students from all grades enthusiastically participated in collecting plastic bottles, wrappers, and other recyclable plastic items from their homes and surroundings. The drive not only helped clean the environment but also educated young minds about the harmful effects of single-use plastics on our planet.
Teachers and staff guided the students on proper waste segregation and recycling methods, reinforcing the importance of responsible consumption and waste management. The collected plastic materials will be sent for recycling, contributing to a cleaner and greener community.
Through this activity, Abhay International School reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious citizens who care for nature and work together for a sustainable future.
