The toddler environment has a 3-hour work cycle.
The first 2 hours are core Montessori work and then the children set the table for community lunch.

An excerpt from our on-site workshop aimed at helping parents understand the ideal environment for their children to thrive. This workshop was conducted for our toddlers and primary children's parents. Our workshop included topics like how to prepare a more conducive environment for children, the benefits of the prepared environment and powers of child included the absorbent mind and sensitive periods. It was a productive discussion for everyone.

Our teachers introduce us to a whole new world that sometimes scares us, excites us, challenges us, and toughens us up to face all the battles of our life. We don't just learn theory from our teachers, but also practical learnings that stays with us throughout. At Veda, our children noted all the qualities that they've learned and adapted from their teachers. Words will never be enough, but still, let’s thank our teachers for everything they’ve taught us.

Dr. Maria Montessori was a legendary woman who gave another meaning to practical learning and evolved the educational system.
We celebrated Dr. Maria Montessori's birthday by playing Musical Chairs. Children recited rhymes while participating in this fun game. Unlike the usual, where one person gets eliminated after music stops and one chair is removed, our children shared their chairs and continued playing. They understood the concept of sharing and we're truly proud. It is indeed true, that the teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori are passed along and embraced by our children.

Experimental learning is essential as it allows children to understand and learn the concepts with more clarity.
As it is monsoons, we had one of our favorite experimental learning sessions at school ‘Water Cycle’. Children learn the process of how rain occurs through experiments. We started with the water cycle, evaporation, condensation, and precipitation & finally rainfall. It was indeed a productive week.

Stringing beads is a great activity for toddlers and preschoolers and it has numerous developmental benefits. It develops fine motor skills and bilateral coordination. This activity also enhances the concentration and focus of a child.

The sandpaper letters are not only important material in language but also exciting activity for the children to discover. They love thinking of new words for specific sounds. The purpose of this activity is to help the child learn the sounds of the alphabets by visual and muscular memory as they trace again and again until the shape of the letter becomes a part of their muscle memory.
