'Youth Fellowship Program, 2025-26.'
Our Youth fellows recently participated in an engaging workshop on 'Urban Governance' facilitated by 'Sitaram Shelar' from 'Pani Haq Samiti'.
The workshop created an interactive learning space where fellows explored how governance shapes our everyday lives. With a special focus on the '74th Constitutional Amendment Act', the workshop unpacked the importance of local self-governance, democratic participation and the role of citizens in strengthening communities and democratic processes.
Through activities, group discussions, presentations and real-life examples, the resource person encouraged fellows to see themselves not just as citizens, but as active participants in building accountable, inclusive and democratic cities.

The 'Learning Community (LC)' Orientation brought together girls from organizations like 'Vacha Charitable Trust, PUKAR, CHIP India, Unnati and OSCAR Foundation' at 'Level Resort, Bhayandar' for a meaningful space of learning, reflection and connection.
Through multiple sessions and engaging activities on topics like Leadership, Gender, Safeguarding and Mental Health, participants explored what LC is, why it was formed and the important role each girl leader will play within the community. The orientation also highlighted the contribution of every LC girl leader and helped many gain more clarity and confidence in their journey ahead.
A session by Tejal Sh*tole, Lead – Gender at PUKAR, added valuable insights and strengthened the collective learning experience.
For many participants, this was their first time being part of such a large learning platform making the experience even more empowering and memorable.
Stay Tuned to witness how these girls take on leading roles in bringing transformation within their communities.
