We are thrilled to share that our GMBA alumna, Shreemati Varadarajan (Chief Investment Officer at AAM Advisory Pte Ltd) has co-authored a book on Vol.5: Inspiring Stories of Hope, Courage & Fearlessness. She was also recently appointed as a Board member in her company. Congratulations, Shreemati!

Over the years, Shreemati has been a vital part of the SPJ alumni community and has been a strong mentor for our student projects. She's also been part of SPJ Xpressions for our alumni and has organised mock interviews for students.

The future of digital transformation - SPJ Alumni Spotlight with Shameer Thaha We caught up with SP Jain alumni Shameer Thaha (Global MBA'09) to learn more about his vision and his leadership journey. Let's take a look!

"Beyond my corporate career, I am a stand-up comedian and an author. I have performed across the country, one of my gigs being in Hong Kong. I do indulge in workshops on happiness for many colleges and office audiences. This has been a huge milestone in my life since it helped me understand why I do what I do. I realised that making people happy makes me happy too.

My book, 'Happiness in your skin', sold over 2000 copies, touching lives and helping people think about what could potentially make them happy consistently. As a comedian, I love to crack people up whenever I'm on stage. I love to inspire, and I hope that I do.

I do my best to align my life and my actions with one purpose: to make the world a warm, inspired and happier place. That's who I am and what I do."

About our SPJ Alum: Associate Vice President at Kantar, Amarjeet Singh (GMBA 2009), helps his clients with insight and business advice to further understand their customers and grow their businesses. His expertise lies in qualitative and quantitative primary research, and he has also worked in advertising and general management roles post his MBA at SP Jain.

But first, let’s not be rule-breakers. Take a look at the guidelines-

1. There will be a new theme every week. Your photograph must be related to the theme.
2. Photographs can be clicked from your mobile phone or camera.
3. As a participating alumnus, you should be a part of the photo that you share.
4. Upload your photo on the alumni portal only via the “Create Post” option on Noticeboard.
5. For your photo to be eligible for the contest, your caption MUST have the hashtag:
6. You can share more than one photo too. There is no limit for each person.
7. You will have to post at least one click every week as per the week’s theme to be eligible for winning a prize at the end of 4th week.
8. Maximum number of cumulative likes on your photographs will help you win at the end of 4 weeks.
9. The top 3 alumni with the maximum likes at the end of 4 weeks will be declared as winners.
10. The winning results will be declared by SPJ’s Alumni Relations team and will be considered as final.
