Team Shunya, IIT Bombay, is an interdisciplinary team comprising 8 faculty members and 50+ students to build net-positive solar-powered houses, making India's future energy security possible. Our vision is to become a leading innovation hub in the field of sustainability by providing accessible housing solutions for society and industry. nable living which conform to the three pillars of Sustainable Development: Economic viability, Environmental protection and Social Equity. We took part in Solar Decathlon Europe 2014 a"d got an "Honourable mention in Sust"inability" for our project Haught. Then we participated in Solar Decathlon China, 2018 an" won the “Best Participa" ion Award” for our project Solarise. We were the only team from India to represent India in this so-called Olympic of Solar Energy, none other than Solar Decathlon.
