These tests provide a score based on your performance in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

TEF score of 300-358: Corresponds to CLB 7 (Intermediate)

TEF score of 359-390: Corresponds to CLB 8 (Upper Intermediate)

TEF score of above 390: Corresponds to CLB 9 (Advanced)

The cut-off score for the recent Express Entry draw with 3200 invitations was 420 points. This means that candidates needed a minimum score of 420 in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to be invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
