CHRISTMAS - A Season of Love , Joy and Hope

The annual Sports Meet of Rose Manor was set rolling on Saturday, December 16, 2023. This day was earmarked to set new records and to fan the spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship among Rose Manorites.

The wee hours of the morning saw the sports ground looking resplendent with children dressed in colourful attires meant to match the sporting event they were to participate in.

The event flame was lit by the torch that was carried around the field by the school’s outstanding students who are ambassadors to various sports and the Chief Guest, Iron Man, Mr Kapil Arora, declared the Sports Meet open after

Iron Man’s personal trajectory in the arena of sport mirrored endurance and versatility. This multifaceted sportsperson resonated perseverance and sportsmanship.

The release of 200 blue and white balloons in the backdrop of the clear sky by the Chief Guest, embodied the high aspirations of Rose Manorites.

The lighting of the torch, unfurling of the school flag, and the declaration of the Sports Meet open were conducted with fanfare.

The Guests of Honour, fitness coach Shivohaam a.k.a. Dheepesh Bhatt and wellness coach Vrinda Bhatt provided students tips that were motivational.

The march past, the performance of the school band, the gymnastic displays, and the contingent performing the Kudo martial arts stole everyone’s heart. The drill displays through the formation of pyramids by children revealed grit and cameraderie.

The athletic runs, relay, parents and staff races were all received with acclamation.

The inter-house competition was tough and ended with a nail-biting finish.

The parents were cheerful spectators who tracked the events to the minute details.

The closing ceremony was a solemn one that witnessed the lowering of the school flag by the Sports masters who handed it over to the Head of School, for repository. The culmination was one that aroused mixed feelings. The day ended on a happy note!

Every child is different kind of flower all together they make this world a beautiful garden .

"Life never seems to be the way we want it, but we live it in the best way we can.
There’s no perfect life but we can fill it with perfect moments." I received this message this morning and as I look back on the life of our dear Madhu, who joined Rose Manor at a tender age of 18, even when I was a student of this school, I can very well say that he filled his life with perfect moments.
He has seen this school face many weathers and stood by it all through these years. With a smile on his face, he was always there greeting every student and teacher at the school gate each morning.
The school was his family and he surely has left an indelible mark through his dedication and hardwork, over the years.
I pray that God blesses his soul and he may grant him eternal rest.
