Rish*t Jain and Kahaan Jalan brought laurels to Hill Spring International School, winning Best Entrepreneur in Entrepreneurial Expedition and Best Fund Manager in Cash or Crash at Portfolio – Interschool Finance Fair 2025. Held on 27th September 2025 and hosted by The Cathedral Finance Society, the event saw participation from over ten leading Mumbai schools. Competitors showcased their financial insight, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills across eight dynamic categories.

On Saturday, 4th October, our Grade 9 students hosted Ābhāar Diwas to celebrate and express gratitude to our bhaiyas and didis for their dedication and service to the school community. The day was filled with delicious food, fun games, lively dance and music besides heartfelt moments of joy and togetherness.
From warm smiles to thoughtful gestures, every part of the celebration reflected the students’ appreciation and respect for those who work tirelessly behind the scenes.

The PYP Mumbai Network met recently at Hill Spring International School. We were delighted to welcome Ms. Michele S. Mindorff, Senior IB World Manager. The meeting commenced with a focus on key updates and upcoming initiatives within the Primary Years Programme. Participants exchanged ideas, shared best practices and explored strategies to strengthen teaching and learning collaboratively. The session provided an opportunity to reflect on and converse around implementation of current practices and priorities within the PYP framework. The meeting concluded with an emphasis on the importance of continued professional learning and the role of the network in fostering a culture of collaboration and shared growth within the PYP community.

Hearty congratulations and a big bow to the HSI MUN Club delegates for their stellar performance at the recently concluded Aditya Birla Model United Nations (ABMUN) 2025) from 26th to 28th September. A huge shout out to the delegation of 23 who put their best foot forward to debate on pressing global issues using the tools of diplomacy and productive collaboration. A special mention to the individual award winners: Rikhav Shah, Pehel Mehta, Amaerah Dodia, Tanay Jain, Naisha Kala, Delaara Amaria, Ranbir Chadha, A***n Jajodia, Kabir Gupta, Arham Doshi, Reeva Jain.

14 students from across the IGCSE, A levels, and IBDP took part in the Harvard Model United Nations Conference India 2025 (HMUN India 2025) from 14th to 17th August. This four-day simulation of international relations had more than 1300 delegates representing 94 schools from across India. The delegates assumed the role of UN representatives in various committees and debated on issues of global relevance, experiencing the merits as well as challenges of diplomacy first hand. HSI once again put up a stellar performance with 10 students bagging prestigious individual awards. A big shout out to Yuvraj Tejnani and Kabir Gupta for the Best Delegate awards. Most notably the school was awarded the Best Large Delegation Award from amongst the 94 schools, thus clinching a Delegation Award for the SIXTH consecutive year! Well done delegates and well done HSI MUN Club!

Congratulations are in order for Sanaya Chheda, our Grade V student, who marked India’s first entry to the American Computer Science League (ACSL). Competing alongside two other talented young minds, Sanaya showcased exceptional skill and determination. Her outstanding performance earned her a well-deserved Silver Medal, marking a significant milestone for India in this prestigious international competition!

They competed against eight IB schools, where they showcased outstanding skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Presenting to you Kiara Jain from Grade 8A along with her team PARADUCKS 9606 who participated in the First Robotics Competition (FRC) 2025 at Houston USA. They were ranked 1st out of 6 teams in INDIA and 199 out of 3690 teams globally. It’s a great effort for a 2 year old team at the coveted international FRC 2025.
Here’s wishing Kiara all the very best in her future endeavours in this amazing journey of Robotics. We are certain that this early exposure at a global stage will endow her with confidence and inculcate essential team building skills. She has indeed made us all proud!
