Catch a few glimpses of the students of the DLLE committee of GSCC volunteering in the largest student beach cleanup drive - CLEANATHON 5.0, in association with the Rajani Foundation and United for Greater Cause. Over 400 students from more than 15 colleges participated in the drive on 24 September 2023 at Juhu Beach.
The special celebrity guests at the drive were environmentalist Ms. Primla Hingorani (Aunty 72) and Marathi playback singer Mr. Utkarsh Shinde who were present to inspire the students and support the cause. The success story of the cleanup drive was covered in popular Marathi dailies like Lokmat & Pudhari and also by Marathi news channel TV9 Marathi.
