Was involved in an initiative of the restoration of one of the 400 plus year old places of worship that dot our city.
Must our priority be the bringing back to original form, or integrating what is new and advanced without destroying the original fabric so as to extending its life and relevance to the maximum possible extent.
Rather than getting caught up in a whirlwind of creating museums that tell stories, we need to rejuvenate these spaces interweaving new needs as seamlessly as possible so that they continue to serve the needs sometimes unchanged, but often times altered by changing values.
