The Mumbai ACM Professional Chapter was officially inaugurated on February 1, 2025, at Shah And Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College, Mumbai. The event commenced with an inspiring address by Dr Bhavesh Patel, Chair of Mumbai ACM Chapter and Principal, SAKEC.

As part of the inauguration, Dr. Bhavesh Patel, Dr. M. Sashikumar (Director, CDAC), Dr. Sunil Kumar Kopparapu (Senior Scientist, TCS Innovation Labs) and Mr. Yati G. (CTO, Litmus Information Systems) jointly launched the Mumbai ACM Chapter’s official website, logo, vision, and mission statements.

Following this, the event featured engaging technical talks by Dr. M. Sashikumar on “AI – The Hype and Reality” and Mr. Yati Gharat on “Industry 4.0.” The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Swati Deshpande Nadkarni, Vice Chair of the Mumbai ACM Chapter.
