66th Annual Day Celebrated at P. N. Doshi Women’s College

Mumbai: The 66th Annual Day of Smt. P. N. Doshi Women’s College, run by the S. P. R. J. Kanyashala Trust, Ghatkopar, was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 24th December 2025. The programme was held in the presence of distinguished guests, faculty members, and students.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Mushtaq Shaikh, Education Inspector, Mumbai North Division. The Special Guest was Dr. Avni Maniyar, while Mr. Bijal Doshi, member of the S. P. R. J. Kanyashala Trust, graced the event. The programme was presided over by Dr. Asha Menon, Director of the institution.

During the event, Mr. Bijal Doshi addressed the students and motivated them to move forward in life with confidence. He highlighted the importance of social responsibility, creativity, and commitment toward nation-building. He also provided information about various socially beneficial initiatives undertaken by the institution.

Outstanding students were felicitated for their remarkable achievements in academics, sports, and cultural activities during the prize distribution ceremony. Awards were also presented to meritorious students, toppers, NSS and NCC volunteers, and students who excelled in research activities.

Chief Guest Mr. Mushtaq Shaikh emphasized that gaining in-depth knowledge is more important than rote learning. He encouraged students to focus on overall development and lifelong learning. Dr. Avni Maniyar appreciated the achievements of the students and inspired them to strive for excellence.

The event was conducted smoothly with effective coordination. The programme concluded on a positive note, leaving students motivated and inspired for future success..

The PG Students of MSc ECE conducted a series of Hands on Activities with the first and second standard Students of BMC School no 3 at Bhatwadi. This event was planned in Collaboration with IIT Guwahati, Unnat Bharat Abhyan and Smt P N Doshi Women's College under the mentorship of Vinod Zalte Sir.
