DDS 2012

The Design Degree Show (DDS) is an annual design festival at the Industrial Design Centre of IIT Bombay. The event unfolds through a fine selection of programs.

This year the event held at the Nehru Centre, Mumbai features the works of 57 students from the Class of 2012 across five disciplines. Design Degree Show (DDS) is an annual event where graduating students of the Industrial Design Centre (IDC) at IIT Bombay showcase their work. Abhikalpana (Day 1) saw coming together of speakers from academia and industry. Shri Sam Pitroda enlightened us about Innovations for India in his inaugural lecture. There were talks on Informationalization, designing for the elderly, sustainable development, innovation workshop methodologies and much more. Day 2 is showcasing talks on vision for design innovation schools, finding design solutions for problems at large, innovations in craft sector, incremental housing, strategies and human rsources for a creative innovations.
