Junior Kindergarten students visited a movie theatre, where they explored various areas like the ticket counter, different screens, numbered seats, food stalls, and the projector room.
They were fascinated to learn how films are projected onto big screens through machines.
During the visit, they also learned about community signs, such as entry/exit signs, separate washrooms for girls and boys, and the significance of signs for navigation and safety, including the No-Smoking sign!

Last week, the acclaimed British author David Baddiel, who is currently on a tour in India, visited and engaged with our students from grades 3 to 7.
David, the author of nine popular children’s books, delighted the students by reading an excerpt from his book 'AniMalcolm'. He also hosted a quiz and answered numerous questions from the students.
Drawing inspiration from one of his books, David playfully asked the students to imagine what it would be like to swap parents for a day. And before he left, he kindly signed copies of his books for the students.

Our Grade 6 students visited the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, exploring ancient sculptures from Egypt, Greece, Rome, India, and Assyria.
The exhibits gave them insights into diverse belief systems and cultural expressions, enhancing their understanding of history and art.
This experience sparked curiosity and appreciation for different cultures, encouraging continued exploration beyond the classroom.

Our student Kabir made his thrilling debut in the FMSCI-approved Kart race at Ajmera IndiKarting on March 30th & 31st, competing in the Pro Junior Category. Organized by Rayo Racing, this event marked the beginning of Kabir's racing journey, and what a start it was!
Securing an impressive 3rd position and bagging the Best Rookie Driver trophy, Kabir has shown incredible promise and talent on the track.
Let's cheer him on as he continues to chase his dreams in the world of racing!

Our students had an incredible time exploring Pondicherry on our recent trip
They learnt about the city's rich history and immersed themselves in nature at Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary.
The visit to the War Memorial deepened their historical understanding, while the Fastenex factory tour brought BM lessons to life.
But it wasn't just about academics - painting the school walls alongside municipal school children and enjoying leisurely strolls on the Promenade and beach added unforgettable memories to the mix.

Our Grade 9 students had an amazing time in Kochi!
The first day was filled with adventure and learning, from exploring historic landmarks like St. George's Forane Church to enjoying a boat cruise on Marine Drive.
Day 2 brought heritage exploration at Fort Kochi, complete with a Music video contest and a treasure hunt in Synagogue and Jew Town.
On day 3, they visited Muziris Port for history, a Traditional Sadhya lunch, and a thrilling Kalaripayattu show.
Day 4 was all about leisure at Lulu Mall and a serene backwater ride in Alleppey.
Their Kochi adventure, which wrapped up with cultural immersion at the Folklore Museum, was a perfect blend of education and fun!

Our students and teachers participated in the annual Terry Fox Run on Marine Drive, Mumbai, on Feb 4th, 2024.
The run symbolized unity and support for cancer research, inspired by Terry Fox's legacy.
Organized by the Student Council, they raised INR 84,700 for cancer research in India.

"Meet Ruhi Raghavan, our inspiring Grade 11 student!
She's the founder of 'Sahasini,' her own NGO empowering underprivileged girls through football.
With weekly sessions for 50+ kids, Ruhi hones their skills, boosts confidence, and recently organized a successful girls' football tournament.
She raised funds, gave a motivational speech on Women's Day, and even received recognition from MSSA and Free Press Journal!

The Student Council held a lively debate titled "The Battle of Debaters and/or Be the Debater!" on January 23, 2024, discussing whether Social Media influencers have a real job!
Team Proposition argued that influencer work is a genuine job, while Team Opposition countered with technical aspects.
Team Proposition won, with Aishini Kulkarni from Grade 11 receiving the Best Speaker's award.

Our students are making waves in sports!
Sidharth Mamania, a promising talent from our school representing Maharashtra, has excelled in the under-11 boys' squash semifinals at the ALL India Sports Hub Two tournaments in Kanpur.
Siddhanth Bose (Grade 4), another bright star from our school, achieved remarkable success at the 2024 USA Open Karate Championships & Junior International Cup in Fort Worth, Texas. He brought home Bronze in Individual Kumite (10-11 yrs novice category) at the US Junior International Cup and Gold in Team Katha (10-11 years) at the 2024 USA Open Karate Championship.
Congratulations to both Sidharth and Siddhanth for their outstanding achievements.

From insightful factory visits at Kagzi and Saras Dairy to hands-on experiences in blue pottery and paper-making workshops, our grade 8 students had the time of their lives in Jaipur!
Visits to iconic landmarks such as Amber Palace, City Palace, Jal Mahal, and Albert Hall Museum deepened their understanding of India's rich heritage and history.
Through vlogs and interviews, they explored new avenues of learning.
They also learned to appreciate and include people who are different from them, which is important both in their personal lives and in their future careers.

Looking back on the recent excursion to Hyderabad for our Grade 7 students, it was an enriching learning adventure.
They explored the history of India through visits to sites such as Qutub Shahi Tomb and Golconda Fort.
Engaging in hands-on experiences at Shilpagram and participating in lively discussions at Salarjung Museum added layers to their educational journey.
By creating vlogs and conducting interviews, they gained fresh perspectives, nurturing self-awareness and a deep respect for diversity.

Exploring the world of construction!
From towering machines to hard hats, our students witnessed the magic of building up, up, and up.
The construction site visit sparked a sense of adventure as they learned about architecture, safety, and teamwork.
Riding in elevators and building brick walls were highlights, but the real excitement came from blueprint exploration and designing their block structures.
Challenges arose with stabilizing scaffolding and cranes, but our students showed patience and perseverance.
Though construction vehicles were absent, they ingeniously incorporated them into their final masterpiece!
