St. Joseph, the patron of our school, is a model of humility, obedience, and hard work. Known as the earthly father of Jesus, Saint Joseph lived a simple life dedicated to God and his family. The Novena mass every morning was animated by students of each class. Enactment on the theme of the day and melodious singing added fervour to our service. The school notice boards were decorated by class leaders of every class with the assistance of school leaders.

St. Joseph is admired for his strong faith, patience, and quiet strength. As our patron, he inspires us to be responsible, kind, and faithful in our daily lives.
St. Joseph teaches us the value of honesty, dedication, and service to others. We look up to him as a guide who encourages us to grow in character, wisdom, and love, making our school a place of goodness and unity.

The culmination of the Novena ended with a Solemn feast day mass on 19th March 2026.
Rev. Fr. Flovi D'souza Principal of Don Bosco Matunga, was the main Celebrant and he enlightened the gathering as to how St. Joseph got this unique privilege of being the foster father of Jesus. The active participation during the mass and a get-together which was followed later on indeed created a festive environment.

Our Principal Rev. Fr. Solomon Rapol appreciated the staff who took charge of the preparations for the 9 days of the Novena and felicitated all the students right from Pre-primary to Std IX for their regular attendance for the mass.

Field Trip to Rani Baug, Byculla

The Nursery and Junior KG classes went on a field trip to Rani Baug on 5 March. The main purpose of the visit was for the children to observe and learn about different kinds of birds and animals.

During the trip, the students saw a variety of birds such as penguins, parrots, macaws, cockatiels, and many other aquatic birds. They were also excited to see animals like turtles and crocodiles. One of the most thrilling moments of the visit was watching the tiger walking close to the glass enclosure, which became the main attraction for the children.

The field trip was a fun and exciting experience for the young learners. It gave them the opportunity to see different animals up close, learn about nature, and enjoy a memorable day with their friends and teachers. The visit was both educational and enjoyable for the children.
