Knowledge sharing in the field of technology at the global level necessitates all the stake holders to come together and exchange their experiences and vision for tomorrow on a regular basis for achieving growth with sustainability. TCET, since the year 2010, has been instrumental in holding International Conference & Workshops in Emerging Trends in Technology (ICWET) & Multiple Conferences and Workshops event successfully in association with international journals of repute, industry and professional bodies and has majorly focussed on Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This year the horizon of Multicon-W 2014 is not limited to ICT field but also diversified to other engineering disciplines including the core branches and is presented as MULTICON-W 2014 – A platform for Multiple Conferences and Workshops, with focus on Technological Advancement in the recent years. The recent technological advancements in various fields of engineering and its influence on the human life in the last two decades has not only impacted the standard of living but has also revolutionized the engineering practices resulting in need for innovation in the specialized and core areas, including interdisciplinary fields of engineering. This has brought a new dimension to research and development in engineering and technology and allied areas. Therefore, there is a need to bring all researchers and technologists on a common platform to present their contributions and share their thoughts. MULTICON-W 2014 is a new initiative of TCET which is a platform for all the stake holders to contribute their original research work in three emerging areas : ICWET for Electronics and Telecommunication; ICWAC for Computer and Information Technology and ICWAME for Mechanical. In addition, Industry Workshops, Research Colloquium,National level project competition cm Exhibition (NLPCE-2014) are other special features of MULTICON-W 2014. Objectives
