Buying a property is one of the biggest financial commitments most people make. Yet the legal groundwork behind it often receives the least attention.
For the professionals who advise on these transactions, knowing where the risks lie is what separates a clean purchase from a costly dispute.

In this session, Adv. Aananya Daniel brings the detail to life, covering what to verify, what to question, and what should never be taken on trust.

As the return filing season gets underway, this is an opportune moment to master two areas that often raise questions in practice.

1. The process of claiming Foreign Tax Credit under the provisions of the Income-tax Act, approached with a clear focus on its intricacies and procedural aspects.
2. The reporting of Foreign Assets under Schedule FA of the Income Tax Return, including its applicability, nuances, and relevance in light of the Black Money Act.

To address the specific queries professionals encounter on these specialised topics, the International Taxation Committee of the Chamber of Tax Consultants (CTC) is pleased to present two Online Classroom Sessions this ITR compliance season, led by CA. Mahesh Nayak and CA. Rutvik Sanghvi.
