How to study smart?
Studying is not an easy thing, probably!
But who’s to blame here?
No one!
An effective learning process is a collective result of efforts taken by teachers, parents and a student’s own efforts. Teachers and parents always try their best to assure that a student gets the best facilities and environment to study. Here are some important tips for students:
1.Timetable
Many students and parents often make a mistake of emphasizing too much on studying. The key here is to properly manage other activities as well. A child should be allowed to have a proper fixed time for playing too. Outdoor playing is more helpful as it keeps the body active and fit.
2.Proper rest
Not having proper rest can make a student feel tired. This may lead to dullness in classroom. Proper rest keeps the brain active and at peak of alertness.
3.Make it Fun!
Rather than stressing students, they should be thought that Studying is a fun process. Once a student comes under an impression where he/she thinks of learning as a fun process, they go all way out to give their best.
4.Imagine
Students should be thought to imagine and create a mental image of the material or topic they are learning. Creating a picture of a topic in mind has proved to be more effective than cramming.
5.Write while you read
It is a well known fact that reading out loud and writing, simultaneously, is more effective than simple mind reading. Reading and writing together keeps your brain more active as compared to other methods.
6.Set goals
Good habits are important for students. One such habit is of ‘Setting Targets’. Making time defined plans motivates a student to work hard. Students should be thought the positive and fruitful effects of studying.
