Industrial Visit to Tata Power Skill Development Institute (TPSDI), Shahad 🌱

The Final Year Electrical Engineering students visited Tata Power Skill Development Institute (TPSDI), Shahad on 24th September 2026 as part of their practical learning under the subjects Renewable Energy Technology and Switchgear & Protection.

Key takeaways : various advanced electrical and renewable energy technologies, including Gas Insulated Substations (GIS), switchgear, circuit breakers, 22 kV switchyards, Solar PV systems, Floating Solar, and Green Hydrogen technologies covering generation, transportation, storage and fuel cells.

⚡ Industrial Visit to Dahanu Thermal Power Plant ⚡

The Second Year Electrical Engineering students visited Dahanu Thermal Power Plant on 23rd September 2026 as part of their practical learning under the subjects Generation, Transmission & Distribution and Electrical & Electronic Measurements.

The visit provided students with valuable industrial exposure to thermal power generation, plant operations, electrical equipment, measurement systems, and safety practices, enabling them to connect classroom concepts with real-world applications in the power sector.
