Expanding horizons beyond the classroom—where learning came alive through experiences, exploration, and discovery: Grades 10, AS and A Levels
The Educational Excursion with classmates left our students with many valuable life lessons and skills beyond the classroom. It helped them become more independent as they learnt to manage their belongings and follow schedules responsibly. They developed teamwork while sharing rooms, planning activities and supporting each other especially when some of their classmates fell ill due to the extreme cold weather. It helped improve social bonding, allowing students to understand and appreciate different personalities. They learnt adaptability by adjusting to new environments, food and routines. Traveling together encouraged problem-solving when unexpected situations arose. Students also gained cultural awareness by exploring new places, new people and experiences. Overall, it helped build confidence, responsibility and lifelong memories.
