Behind the NSCA India Cricket High Performance Summit 2026 was a team that worked quietly, tirelessly and with one shared purpose — to create something meaningful for India’s Strength & Conditioning and Sport Science community.

We are a small and young team, spread across different geographies, and 𝕨𝕖 𝕣𝕒𝕣𝕖𝕝𝕪 𝕘𝕖𝕥 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕠𝕡𝕡𝕠𝕣𝕥𝕦𝕟𝕚𝕥𝕪 𝕥𝕠 𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕖 𝕥𝕠𝕘𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣.

A highly engaging day with ℙ𝕒𝕥𝕣𝕚𝕔𝕜 𝔽𝕒𝕣𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕥 at the NSCA India Post-Conference Workshop, where participants had the opportunity to learn from his extensive experience in elite cricket and high-performance sport.

The workshop explored practical perspectives around injury prevention, on-field injury management, decision-making in real sporting environments, and the integration between physiotherapy, sports science and the wider performance team.

What made the session especially valuable was the combination of real-world examples, practical demonstrations, open discussions and interaction with participants — going beyond theory into how these principles are actually applied with athletes.

A room full of physiotherapists, Strength & Conditioning coaches and sports-performance professionals, all coming together with one objective:

to learn, question, share and become better practitioners.
