One day, a farmer's donkey fell into a well.
The animal cried and grieved for hours while the farmer tried to do something to save him.
Eventually, the farmer decided the donkey was too old and the well had been dry for a long time, so getting the donkey out of the well wasn't worth it.
He called his neighbors, and each of them took a shovel and began throwing dirt into the well.
The donkey, realizing what was happening, started crying and growling even louder.
At one point, to everyone's surprise, the donkey stopped complaining after a few plates of dirt.
The farmer looked to the bottom of the well and was amazed at what he saw...
With every palate of dirt, the donkey was doing something incredible: it was hitting the ground with its hooves and taking a step above the ground.
Very soon, everyone saw in surprise the donkey coming to the mouth of the well, stepping over the edge and trotting out.
MORAL. Life will knock you down, but we can get out of the deepest pits if we don't give up. Use the ground they throw you to move forward. Love more, fight more, and let the real as*holes be the others.

I don’t care if that’s how it’s seen.
We win some.

So, you can celebrate me for today
But I’m gonna be the same tomorrow
As this day.

Tributes to a professor who cared for a common man
On his birth anniversary today
Until 1977, the first class of the Indian Railways had padded, comfortable berths while the second-class berths were akin to wooden planks. Upon becoming the railway minister, Dandavate initiated the process of adding two inches of foam to these berths. He had said, “What I want to do is not degrade the first class, but elevate the second class.”

Today is his birthday and I want to say Thank you to him. Thank you for everything he has done for this country.

He purchased British companies like :- Jaguar, Land Rover, Corus Steel, Tetley Tea etc. (and probably avenged 200 years of British Colonization in his own style 😉)

When Taj Hotel was attacked on 26/11 , he was standing outside the hotel, risking his own life to ensure the safety of his employees.That was not his job, but he considered it as his duty.

NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY TODAY
Srinivasa Ramanujan was an Indian mathematician who lived during the British Rule in India. Though he had almost no formal training in pure mathematics, he made substantial contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series, and continued fractions, including solutions to mathematical problems considered unsolvable.
He was born on 22nd December 1887. Hence nation commemorates his birth anniversary on December 22 every year.
A wrong popular misconception is due to the emergence of computers there is no need to study mathematics
