In upcoming week, we will celebrate our 73rd Republic Day, the day when our constitution came into effect
There are various brave men who martyred for our country and countrymen
So, let’s remember the sacrifice made by these brave men and inculcate patriotism in us by paying tribute to our favorite leaders
This 26th January, SWC gives you an opportunity to showcase your patriotism towards your favorite leaders by preparing a sketch, paintings and photographs of your favorite leaders and poems and speech on the same.
So, by generating a sense of patriotism in yourself, take-up this wonderful opportunity to show your respect towards your favorite leaders and let’s celebrate this Historical Day with cheer and enthusiasm.

Write up - This photograph was taken at the Sabzi Bazaar at Thane on a cloudy Monday morning. The mother and her two children are patiently waiting for her husband who is in the process of opening their fruits stall. This family caught my eye in the busy street as they were very calm and innocent amid the total chaos in the bazaar. The three set of eyes in the photo speak to me about different emotions- the mothers eyes convey a brave and attentive force towards the chaos. The younger son’s eyes convey pure innocence, uncorrupted by the society whereas the elder sons eyes communicate the Monday blues I was facing that day!

Title of the photo - La Réflexion

Theme selected - Reflection Based

Write up - Photography was invented by a French scientist named Joseph Nicéphore Niépce in 1826. He was a christian by birth and was a believer of the church, so we can say this picture is a tribute to him as he did love churches. The theme I decided to go for is reflection which converts to "La réflexion" in french which again is a connecting factor to the inventor. The picture in frame is of : Mount Mary Church, Bandra. I used the bonnet of a car as a reflection point and placed the phone in such a way that I can get
this shot with a good angle.
