Here is a heart warming recipe for you ☀️

It’s been so long I’ve posted anything on this page, mostly because my mind has been in too many places 🎄🌈

Chocolate hazelnut tart to enjoy warm on a cold December evening 🎄

Ingredients:
All purpose flour 100g
Cocoa powder 20g
Chilled & cubed butter 35g
Powdered sugar 35g
Milk 1 tbsp

Sieve the flour, cocoa and sugar into a bowl and mix it. Add in the chilled butter and rub it into the dry mixture with your fingers until it resembles coarse sand. Add in milk and then form into a dough. You could adjust the quantity of milk. Chill the dough in an airtight container for 20 mins.
Then roll it even on a silpat and place it inside your tin, cutting off the excess. Use a fork to create indents and bake in a pre heated oven at 180c for 15 - 20 mins(depending on the size of your tin.)
Cool completely.

For the ganache, add 100g of chocolate + 70g heavy cream + 10g salted butter and microwave until a smooth ganache is formed.

Assembly:
Add chopped roasted hazelnuts to your tart. Top it with the ganache and place hazelnuts to decorate.
