Visit to the Shanti Ashram Bus Depot - Learning beyond classrooms
CP Goenka International School in collaboration with Juhu Parle Education society, successfully organised a field trip to *Shanti Ashram Bus Depot for Playgroup Nursery learners.*
All the learners were excited for the field trip to Shanti Ashram Bus Depot Borivali (West).
The purpose of the visit was to acquaint the students with the public transport facility used by most of the people in our country. It helped the learners to get hands-on experience to observe how people travel by public transport - B.E.S.T Bus.
They also observed the ticket counter, the timetable and different routes through which the buses operate. The conductor of the bus gave dummy tickets to the learners and they were explained the importance of always travelling with a ticket.
The field trip was concluded by each learner having smiles on their faces. Indeed a day perfused with great learning and endless fun.
