The first question which is asked 50 times across 6 multinationals is Async and Await. 50 times is a big number in 70 interview submissions.
Mostly questions asked where async/await, how it works internally, whether async creates a thread, Task vs Thread, Task vs ValueTask, and async state machines.

The second question was on LINQ. It was surprising to see importance of LINQ so much. It means its used a lot in projects. Question revolved around IEnumerable vs IQueryable, First vs FirstOrDefault, Single vs SingleOrDefault, joins, and write LINQ queries
Ahh Delegates :-) . Till 2024 this and interfaces where most asked ones. Looks like taken a drop. Questions asked where Explain delegates, built-in delegates (Action, Func, Predicate), and compare Func vs Action.
The fourth one Garbage collector. Dispose pattern , Generations and so on. Not sure if this question is most asked because its very infactuating to discuss or really many .NET developers are using unmanaged code.
Questions where mainly around how the GC works, why destructors are needed if GC exists, and how unmanaged resources are cleaned up.
The last one was surprise Ref vs Out questions where mostly provide a real-world example when to use, and discuss whether ref can be used with async methods.
