Celebrating 75 years of Independence,

It took huge sacrifices, efforts, sweat and blood to get this independence. On this auspicious day let’s all pledge to free ourselves from poverty, illiteracy and hunger. Let’s pledge to create a society where we have equal opportunities for all and not discriminate on the basis of race, religion and gender.

We at oxford English School dream of a world like that and try to inculcate these basic but important principles in our students so that they can grow up and become competitive, compassionate, successful, un-biased and caring.

We celebrated this day with our students and teachers. We were glad that Abhay Rangnekar {a founding member of Make my trip} Nitgnya Waghela {Founder of Naitikata Foundation} and BNI Enlighten Team were part of this day. They came along with boxes of happiness for all our students.

On behalf of all the beneficiaries, parents, teachers and stakeholder of Oxford English School, we thank you for coming down and spreading happiness.

Jai Hind

The pandemic and consecutive lockdowns left many jobless and have seen entire slum-dwelling being jobless at some point. Children were most effected, they were hungry, malnourished and vulnerable to diseases. Many families, who live in Malwani slums, are completely dependent on NGOs.

Oxford English School is working not only on their education but since the lockdown began, they have started food distribution programs with the help of NGOs like Indian Development Foundation (IDF) and others.

Dr. Narayan Iyer from IDF and Rotaract Club of Amity Global School through their volunteers provided the 300 packets of lunch box to the students of our School on Saturday, 14th August 2021
Oxford English School through its partners associations are working together to make a difference.

We are more than a year and half in this pandemic, businesses were shut down, the middle class went through job losses, lesser working hours, and salary cut downs. The most affected were daily wagers, small time shop owners and businesses. This put them in a very vulnerable situation, paying rents, electricity and for groceries became priority over education. Giant Group of Byculla became the ray of hope for such students. The entire team of Giant Group of Byculla worked relentlessly to ensure basic education should not get affected due to financial hardship especially to the most vulnerable students. Oxford English School shares this act of compassion with Giant Group of Byculla and are passionately working hard to ensure education for all.

On behalf of all the beneficiaries, parents, teachers, and stakeholders of Oxford English School, we thank you for helping our students. Please accept our heart-felt gratitude.
