AICPA & CIMA India, in coordination with Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, conducted an International Seminar on “Future-Ready Finance Careers” for students of the Department of Commerce, School of Social Sciences & Languages (SSL).

The initiative was designed to support Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) by creating structured awareness among commerce students on:

▪ The impact of AI and strategic thinking on the future of finance roles
▪ Global employability and access to international career opportunities
▪ Aligning academic learning with evolving industry expectations

The session featured insights from Mr. Ganesh Sankaran (ACA, ACMA (UK), CGMA, CTBME), Consulting Leader – Finance Advisory, TCS, and Mr. Tharindu Wijewardana (ACMA (UK), CGMA), Country Head – Sri Lanka & South India, AICPA & CIMA, who shared perspectives rooted in global practice and industry transformation.

Such engagements reflect our ongoing commitment to partnering with Higher Education Institutions to strengthen student career readiness, enhance industry exposure, and enable informed decision-making for globally relevant leadership careers.
