A journey from Riyaz to recording. Two piano students from Inspire India Project put the shine on their talent, after a two-month practice of this song. Kudos to their teacher Raj Shah, who encouraged them to do this. Thanks to their initiative, the IIP Centre at Sion Mumbai came alive this morning with the sounds of the piano. With this song, we salute our Maa - Mother India on Republic Day.

Inspire India
Inspire India Project, initiated by Shankar Mahadevan Academy, aspires to make music as a topic of household conversation at every home in the community.
A two-take video—and we get this beauty. It took these two piano students from Inspire India Project all of two months to prepare for it. The lesson they learned from this video recital is that the journey is always longer and more joyful than the result; if you are immersed in your journey you won’t even realize you have reached your destination. So, make sure you enjoy the journey--that’s how you learn unforgettable things.

What's even more impressive is that most of these students aren't Tamil speakers, yet their performance was flawless.
