On April 19th, 2024, our students were fortunate to participate in the I.I.M.U.N Role Model series held at the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre in Churchgate. Esteemed leaders and role models such as A.S Kiran Kumar , the ISRO chairman, Dr. Mukesh Batra, a renowned Homeopathy Doctor, and Sir R. Gopalkrishnan , the retired Tata Executive and current Chairman of the Board of Directors of Castrol India, graced the event.
During the series, students absorbed invaluable lessons on leadership and unlocking their true potential from these experienced role models. They emphasized the importance of pursuing life with purpose and passion as the key to success. Additionally, students learned about the significance of making decisive choices and executing them with fervor.
A particularly noteworthy point came from Sir R. Gopalkrishnan’s book, where he highlighted "The Ability to think in English but act Indian." This concept resonated with the audience, stressing the importance of embracing global perspectives while staying grounded in one's cultural identity.
Overall, the session provided students with timeless and valuable insights on navigating life. We extend our gratitude to our Principal, Ms. Florina Fernandes, and the I.I.M.U.N team for providing this enriching opportunity.
