Friyana Pardiwala, a former student and teacher of the JB had dreamed to be the person she is today since she was in the second standard. As a little girl she was so inspired by her teachers that she decided to become a teacher in JB itself. Never once did she waver from this decision, she wanted to inspire others just like she had been inspired and change lives, just like her teachers had changed hers. She worked hard towards this goal, became a teacher in JB and she sure did change a lot of lives. Even though she was only with us for a short span of time, she brought a new spirit to our school. She’s now pursuing further studies abroad.

Netherlands defeated the defending champions Spain with a score of 5-1 that shocked people across the globe. Robin Van Persie's equaliser against Spain was not only the turning point in the match but it also set a remarkably high bar for anyone who wants to score the most amazing goal of the World Cup 2014.

Underdogs Taking Over the World Cup
After Costa Rica's unexpected 1-0 win over Italy, FIFA ordered seven Costa Ricans to take drug tests.
Even Diego Maradona hit out at FIFA and said that if there were seven Costa Ricans, why weren't there seven Italians too? The Argentine football legend said the governing body showed 'lack of respect for the rules' after insisting on the tests.
Only two Italians underwent tests. To most of the world this came off as FIFA discriminating against the underdogs.
