Planning to study in the USA? Your F-1 visa journey starts with an important document — the I-20. 🇺🇸🎓

Once your university admits you and confirms your eligibility, the university issues an I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status).

But getting the I-20 is only one part of the process.

After that, students need to complete the required visa application and follow several important steps before appearing for the visa interview.

In this video, Namrata Ma’am explains the F-1 visa process step-by-step, including what the I-20 means, what comes next, and the important things students need to complete correctly.

If you or your child is planning to study in the USA, don't skip this video. Watch it till the end to understand the complete process.

Is a Conditional Acceptance Letter enough to move forward with your visa process? 🎓✈️

Many students think a conditional acceptance letter is less important than an unconditional one.

But from the visa perspective, a conditional acceptance can be an important part of your application process.

As Namrata Ma’am explains, once you have received an acceptance from the university — even if it is conditional — you may be able to proceed with the next stages of your visa process, depending on the requirements of the country and visa authority.

This is why students should understand exactly what their acceptance letter means and what conditions still need to be fulfilled.

Conditional doesn't necessarily mean “not accepted.”

It can be an important step toward your study-abroad journey.

Watch the complete video as Namrata Ma’am explains why conditional acceptance matters from a visa perspective.

Before I read your SOP, I want to understand YOU. 🎓

For Namrata Ma’am, the first step in creating a strong SOP isn't reading the document.

It’s understanding the student behind it.

Once she understands the student's journey, personality, experiences and goals, she can identify what the SOP may be missing:

• What could be added?
• Which experience deserves more attention?
• Is there something important the student forgot to mention?
• Can a particular thought be expressed more naturally?

And there’s another important question:

Is this really the student's writing, or does it sound AI-generated?

AI can help write about emotions, but authentic emotional expression comes from the person who experienced them.

An admission officer wants to understand the student — not read a perfectly polished piece that doesn't sound like them.

For Namrata Ma’am, the student comes first. The SOP comes later.

Watch the complete video to understand why authenticity matters more than perfect words.

Before you write your SOP on a laptop, write it by hand. ✍️🎓

Namrata Ma’am has a simple but powerful approach to SOP writing:

“I don’t know what I think until I see what I think.”

Writing your thoughts by hand can help you slow down, reflect, and actually discover what you want to say.

You may start with scattered thoughts, experiences, achievements or emotions. But once you see them on paper, you can begin asking:

What does this say about me?
Why is this experience important?
How can I elaborate on it?

Only after the student's real thoughts and story are on paper does the refinement begin — improving the structure, language and clarity while keeping the student's original voice and personality intact.

Because a strong SOP isn't created by simply finding impressive words.

It starts by discovering your own story.

Watch the complete video to understand Namrata Ma’am's approach to writing an authentic SOP.

Conditional or Unconditional Offer Letter — What's the Difference? 🎓

When applying to universities, students often come across two terms: Conditional Offer Letter and Unconditional Offer Letter.

But why does a university issue a conditional offer?

A conditional offer means the university is willing to accept you, but there are still certain conditions you need to fulfil.

For example, if you're currently in the final year of a 4-year degree, the university may consider your previous 3 years of academic performance, but your final-year completion and required marks may still be a condition before you can begin your postgraduate studies.

An unconditional offer, on the other hand, generally means you've submitted the required documents, fulfilled the university's conditions, and there is nothing further required from you for the offer to become unconditional.

Understanding this difference is extremely important when planning your postgraduate studies abroad.

Watch the complete video as Namrata Ma'am explains why universities issue conditional and unconditional letters and what they mean for students.

F1 Visa is NOT the name of a student visa. 🇺🇸

This is one of the common misconceptions Namrata Ma’am comes across from students and parents.

F-1 is the U.S. visa category used for international students pursuing academic studies in the United States.

So when someone says, “I need help with my F1 Student Visa,” it can create confusion about what the term actually means.

For other countries, the visa terminology can be different. If you're planning to study in Germany or another country, you would generally refer to the relevant student visa/residence process for that country, not an “F-1 visa.”

Understanding the correct visa category is the first step toward understanding the right application process.

Watch the complete video to understand the difference and avoid this common confusion.
