It's very difficult to say here that Respected Nima Tai Deshpande left this world today at 3pm. It's a great loss to Shikhar family.
Let us all pray for her great soul to rest in peace and god must give strength to Bhushan, Gauri and kids to sustain this unrecoverable loss.

The persons from various organizations/institutes involved in solar Dryer Initiative spearheaded by Shikhar Outward Bound Institute, attended the program.
Shri Sharad Pustake explained the role and responsibilities shared by individuals from various organizations/ institutes and in personal capacities, in the benefit of women of self-help groups working in far flung rural areas.
Shri Mahesh Chaturvedi, the national and international level corporate trainer along with Md Farooq explained the importance of united, cohesive and concentrated efforts by individuals participating in the ex*****on of the project by giving live demonstration through following two exercises, to achieve success in the endeavor:
Exercise A : Making strategically one ring of 12 persons, holding right hand by right hand of sixth person and left hand of any person other than the sixth person and just next person.
Exercise B: Laying a pipe on ground without dropping it using only index fingers of both the hands by each group member:
Outcome drawn by all the participants:
1. Leaders role is important
2. Planning is important
3. Strategy working through group discussion is required
4. Coordinated and concentrated efforts
5. Right assessment and judgement of available resources and their strengths
6. Resourcing right external supports
7. Right support to team at right time

Cummins India Foundation has selected Shikhar Outward Bound Institute for Employee Led CSR Grant Program FY2021-22 under community improvement program in the area of Energy and Environment.
The project undertaken will benefit the farmers to dehydrate their green and leafy vegetables using Smart Solar Dryer.
In this endeavor Shikhar is technically supported by Design Innovation Centre (DIC), SPPU Research Park Foundation of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.
This assistance from Cummins India will further strengthen the skill building activity taken in hand by Shikhar for the local entrepreneurs in past three years.
