🍌 Eggless Banana Pudding Dessert Recipe

Serves: 8-10

For the Vanilla Pudding
* 500 ml milk
* Β½ cup sugar
* 3 tbsp cornflour
* 2 tbsp custard powder (vanilla flavor)
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* 2 tbsp butter

For the Whipped Cream Layer
* 250 ml whipping cream (chilled)
* 2 tbsp icing sugar

For Assembly
* 3-4 ripe bananas (sliced)
* 200 g digestive biscuits or vanilla cookies
* Extra biscuit crumbs for topping

1. Make the Pudding
1. Mix cornflour and custard powder with 100 ml milk.
2. Heat remaining milk and sugar until warm.
3. Add the cornflour mixture and stir continuously.
4. Cook until thick and creamy.
5. Add vanilla and butter.
6. Cover with cling wrap touching the surface and cool completely.

2. Whip the Cream
1. Beat chilled whipping cream and icing sugar until medium peaks form.
2. Fold the cooled pudding into the whipped cream gently.

3. Assemble
1. Layer biscuits at the bottom of a dish.
2. Add sliced bananas.
3. Spread a layer of pudding cream.
4. Repeat layers until the dish is full.
5. Finish with cream, banana slices, and biscuit crumbs.

4. Chill
* Refrigerate for 6-8 hours or overnight for the best texture.

Add 100 g cream cheese to the pudding mixture before folding into whipped cream. This gives the rich, thick texture seen in the photo.
