The Students Council in collaboration with the Commerce Association of SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Autonomous) organised a Seminar on Agrarian Crisis on 3rd October, 2018.
Dr. R. Ramakumar, a professor of Tata institute of Social Sciences, was the guest of honour. He threw light on the plight of farmers in our country. His lecture highlighted all the problems faced by the farmers and provided alternative options and solutions wherever possible. He portrayed the scenario of this issue at a global level.
Finally the forum was open for an interactive session. A lot of questions were asked and the everyone took part in the discussion. The event in all was a great success.
