Cello and piano lessons, Mumbai

Hi friends! My name is Tatiana Kritskaya, I am a professional cellist, pianist, vocalist, based in Mumbai. I have been performing and teaching piano and cello for more than 20 years.
Normally my pupils were adults, teens and quite grown kids. But since I had my own baby (which happened quite late by the way) I started thinking: how to grow interest in music in my daughter. Because as we all know musical development is very good for growing all kinds of intellectual and motoric abilities in a child. And as it turned out, all that I was taught in Moscow Music Academy, all my methods that worked with bigger children - didn't work with her: she didn't like to be told what is correct and what is wrong to do on piano, what to do or not. She just wanted to have fun without anybody interfering.
So I created another teaching method with the purpose to grow interest in piano, to understand how big fun it is, to feel good at it from the very beginning. So by 4 years old my daughter started playing piano even with closed eyes and even composing songs on it. Since then I got inspired by a thought to create my own program for young mothers who, like me, wanted to develop their children musically but do not have proper knowledge and skills for that.
Good news: it's absolutely alright if you are not a musician and never studied music! All that I am teaching my child, all that I am playing for her I could teach you in just 2 or 3 months! As a result you will be playing piano both hands (!), giving a nice example to your baby. More than that, you will be able to create an accompaniment to any song. Additionally to this I will share with you how to develop your child's musical abilities through special games, rhymes, telling musical stories using toys and some basic instruments. How to gradually grow interest and love to such a splendid instrument like piano and become your child's first music teacher! My name is Tatiana, I am from Russia, Moscow. I am living in Mumbai since 2014 doing my favourite jobs: playing the cello and piano solo, playing in ensembles and symphony orchestra (SOI), teaching cello, piano and music theory (NCPA music school). Working in Mumbai for 4 years I discovered that the interest to western classical music here is much higher than one could expect, including to playing the cello. I met here such amazing and talented people: passionate amatures knowing about music ALL, men and women dreaming to play the cello for the whole their life.. I met girls and boys playing and studing several instruments like piano, cello and violin... piano, cello, opera vocal... double bass, violin, viola... Amazing that it happens in India which can be called a pretty desert for the western classical music.

I am offering cello and piano lessons for children and adults, beginners and advanced students. My method is based on the most natural and effortless way of playing. I teach not just to play good but to feel pleasure out of the playing process: it directly liberates the sound giving pleasure to the audience too.

About my background: since age of 6 I studied in the Special music school in Chisinau ( Moldova). That was time of USSR so all republics had the same education system. All special music schools gave education of 10 years with all subjects including normal school ones like math, physics etc. All students there were learning two instruments, second one was compulsory piano. That is why now I can play and teach two instruments.
After the school I went to Moscow where graduated College of Moscow conservatory and Music Academy. My teaches were such "children and grandchildren" of great Mstislav Rosropovich like Alexey Seleznev and Boris Talalay. The Music Academy I graduated under the guidance of one of the first pupils of the great maestro mentioned, Alla Vasilieva.
There my teaching experience started which is about 20 years now. Along with training private pupils I officially worked as cello teacher in Dargomyzhsky music school (Moscow). Curently am working as secondary piano teacher in NCPA special program music school (Mumbai).
