Last Wednesday, we had a heartwarming session at Rishi Valmiki Eco School in Goregaon, Mumbai. A school for the underprivileged, the campus was just 4 classrooms, but the vision carried by the teachers and sincerity in the children is immeasurable.
They have incorporated eco-consciousness as well as STEM in their curriculums, two schools of education needed ardently in the young students of today.
Our founder hosted a 4-hour long session (which flew by!) where we covered with experiments with lemons, clay, mirrors, and gears — with each one seamlessly integrating concepts which left the kids astonished and amazed.
Their quick grasp on concepts showed their blazing curiosity and how we were happy to quench it for a day. “Come back next year too! We await these sessions dearly”, said a student as we left.
This is how we do CSR at The Whiz Lab — with a whole lot of heart. ♥️
