We believe not only in universal toleration, but we accept all religions as true. I am proud to belong to a nation which has sheltered the persecuted and the refugees of all religions and all nations of the earth. I am proud to tell you that we have gathered in our bosom the purest remnant of the Israelites, who came to the southern India and took refuge with us in the very year in which their holy temple was shattered to pieces by Roman tyranny. I am proud to belong to the religion which has sheltered and is still fostering the remnant of the grand Zoroastrian nation. I will quote to you, brethren, a few lines from a hymn which I remember to have repeated from my earliest boyhood, which is every day repeated by millions of human beings:

गुरुदेव कहते थे: यदि हिंदू हिंदू धर्म की रक्षा नहीं करेंगे, तो कौन करेगा?
गणेश चतुर्थी महाराष्ट्र में मनाए जाने वाले सबसे शानदार त्योहारों में से एक है। इस उत्सव की शुरुआत छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज ने संस्कृति और राष्ट्रवाद को बढ़ावा देने के लिए की थी। यह पेशवाओं के शासनकाल के दौरान भी जारी रहा, जिनके लिए भगवान गणेश कुल देवता थे। इसके अलावा 1893 में #बालगंगाधरतिलक, अंग्रेजों की हुकुमत को जड़ से उखाड़ फेकने का संकल्प लेकर सामाजिक और धार्मिक समारोह के रूप में गणेश उत्सव का आयोजन करने वाले व्यक्ति थे।यह त्यौहार में उस समय सभी जातियों और समुदायों के लोग एकत्र होकर भगवान गणेश की स्तुति करके प्रतिज्ञा लेते थे की जब तक ब्रिटिश हुकूमत को उखाड़ नही फ़ेकेगे जब तक चैन की सांस नहीं लेंगे ,इसके बाद अंग्रजो द्वारा सार्वजनिक सामाजिक, राजनीतिक समारोहों पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया गया था। #प्राउडटूबीहिंदू

जिस कहानी को फिल्मों में देख रोंगटे खड़े हो जाते हैं, उस कहानी को जब आप खुद उसके नायक से सुनते हैं तो सोचिए कैसा लगता होगा।

ये सब कुछ सुनने के बाद आपको बस यही मन करेगा कि अब कोई बात न करे, बस अकेला छोड़ दे, क्यों कि मन आपका उस युध्द के क्षेत्र से लौटने का करता ही नही है, आप बलिदानों की इस परम गाथाओं को सुनकर, उन सिपाहियों के बलिदानों के बारे में सोचना शुरू कर देंगे, जिन्हें अब तक महज़ वर्दी में लिपटा हुआ इंसान देखते हैं।

युध्द के उस मंजर में ना सिर्फ टैंकों को ध्वस्त करना बल्कि दुश्मन के गुरुर को तोड़ना केवल देशभक्ति का पागलपन ही करा सकता है।

कमाल की बात ये है कि योगेंद्र सर की सादगी, सहजता, सरलता उन्हें और भी कमाल बना देती है, युद्ध जीतने वाले ये परमवीर महज कुछ वक्त में आपका दिल भी जीत लेंगे।

योगेंद्र सर, आपके लिए जितना भी कहा जाए, सब कम है, आप हैं तो हम हैं।

देश के लिये आप लोगों ने जो बलिदान दिया है, उसके लिए हम सदैव ऋणी हैं।
