If you are to create well you must be in control of the connection between the drawing , painting and it's various tones

Applicants are encouraged to draw on personal experience and cultural heritage as possible avenues of exploration for the required projects and other work submitted for review. Applicants should include work that gives evidence of their ability and willingness to look closely and carefully at a subject. Work may take the form of drawings from observation

Example of a 2d painting.The topic for this was wine bottles and glasses. Its important not only to balance out the shapes and forms but also your colour palatte. Be creative and add some texture to your work.

A portfolio is a personal and essential part of any creative applicant’s tool kit.

Producing one is a must, but getting it right is another thing all together. If you are fortunate enough to secure an interview you will be judged largely on the content of your portfolio and how you are able to talk about it.Be creative and feel free to experiment!
