The Reluctant Readers Book Club
Our Book Club uses the internationally acclaimed Reading Circles – a strategy specially devised to bust barriers to reading.
We methodically break down a book into bite-sized chunks and invite each child to lead a discussion on a particular aspect of the book.
By giving them a voice and a choice, learners are able to engage with the book in a meaningful way.
Reading is no longer an intimidating, lonely or boring activity but an exhilarating journey with the steering wheel in their hands!
P.S Reading Circles improve language skills and hone critical thinking skills - building a solid foundation for IB exams.
