Happy Birthday Mom!! 🎂🎊🎉🥂🥰

Today is the day 71 yrs ago God gifted this World a wonderful human being. A beautiful soul that I had the honour of calling my mom! Like any other child, while growing up, I never realised how precious she was. But soon enough she became my confidant, my best friend and my biggest strength. I had my role model living with me. There was nothing she could not achieve, she was determined, hard working, strong and more than anything else, valued and loved herself. This is a quality most of us are missing today (including me). As they say, you can't pour from an empty cup, she always dressed beautifully for herself, she did what gave her happiness. And that is why she always had enough love and kindness to help everyone around and smile through difficult times. She is my inspiration, she is the perfect example of how to live life. It's been 5 months now since mom went away, I try each day to be a little like her. Long way to go, but I am thankful for what I had for 38 yrs of my life, she gave me enough to live my life with. I miss you with each breath, each second of the day, but I promise to celebrate your birthday and your life today and always.. Thank you for being my Mom.. I am a very very proud daughter.. Happy Birthday Mom! Love you 💞

I was back in the kitchen today and baked after so long.. My favourite recipe - No Knead Focaccia.. Waiting my hubby to return and then gonna devour it 🤗🤗. Thank you guys for the motivation..

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all are doing well. I am writing in after so so long that I almost feel lost. A lot has happened on the personal front and I am still coming to terms with the reality of life. After loosing mom, we lost another young family member and that shook us all. Honestly, I never realised how much it takes to stay strong and move on in life when you are broken, until it happened to me. My heart goes out to every person on this group who has lost a loved one. It can be very very hard. Life will never be the same again but we all have to gather strength and live on for our loved ones who have passed or are still with us in this world.

The reason, I decided to do this today is kind of ironic. I wanted to delete a lot of the past from my mind and my devices and start afresh. While I was doing that, I realised how much am I missing by not getting back to work, connecting with you all and doing what I love the most. I saw numerous messages from all of you, from the time when I used to come live, to the online + offline workshops and most importantly the messages from the time when I was in the lowest phase of my life and completely broken - when mom passed away. Those heartfelt, touching messages meant the world to me. Thank you so so so much everyone who reached out and offered their condolences and support to me. And that is when I realised, you all are my strength. Mom who is watching over, is my motivating force. I have to get back to life and work for this very reason. So many of you, checked on me regularly, told me, how much you all miss the live sessions and what difference I have made in your lives through my work. It made me realise my purpose, it made me realise I am not just someone who is on a break and no one misses. Thank you for the love... 🥰💞

When I sit down to put my head to work, if I am being honest, I don't know where to begin 😢. I feel like so much time has passed, that I do not know if I can do this again, be good at what I used to do, build my connect once again with you all. I am anxious and scared (feels silly to admit but feels liberating too).. But I guess, after weeks of contemplating, I realised to get my answers to any of these doubts/ questions that I have, I will have to start somewhere. Start with something, anything but start.

So here is to hoping, I am back soon with some exciting videos/ workshops and live sessions.

I was at the studio, planning our 1st physical offline workshop post Covid (feels good to write post Covid, atleast hoping the worst is behind us) for Breads and thought of Sara.. just imagining how happy she will be to receive a cake (since her sugar intake is restricted 🤦), I went ahead and made this super simple recipe. Remember the 3-1 Cake recipe I did during the lockdown?? It's a version of that! 😊
