🌍🎨 Art with a Purpose!

Today, Being Human visited Akshara High School for a meaningful collaboration centred around Climate Change. 🌱

Our talented young artists put their creativity to work, creating thoughtful drawings and designs inspired by our planet and the need to protect it. Their artwork will be transformed into designs for Being Human T-shirts, giving their ideas a platform beyond the classroom. 👕✨

Visited Kahani Tree today. 🌿📚

Today, students and teachers from Akshara High School spent a joyful morning at Kahani Tree—the children's bookstore that has been our unwavering Book Week partner over the years.

Our student book committee explored shelves, discovered new favourites, debated choices, and selected books for both our school library and the Book Week Book Sale. Somewhere between picture books and graphic novels, the teachers became children again.

A heartfelt thank you to Sangeetha and the entire Kahani Tree team for your warmth, generosity, and your beautiful against-all-odds spirit in supporting the legacy of raising readers.
Ms Sangeetha did her traditional read-aloud for the children and the children in us.

Here’s to many more children finding the right book at the right time. ❤️

Celebrating the Ones Who Inspire Us!

Teachers’ Day at Akshara High School was a beautiful celebration of gratitude, respect, and appreciation.
Our Std. 10 students stepped into the shoes of their teachers, taking lessons for students from Std. 1 to 9 and giving our teachers a chance to experience the classroom from a different perspective!
The celebrations continued with a special programme thoughtfully organised by Std. 9 and 10, featuring fun games, entertaining performances, and heartfelt moments dedicated to their teachers.

A day filled with laughter, memories, and a whole lot of gratitude for the mentors who guide, inspire, and shape young minds every day.
